I still remember the day this came out as if it was yesterday. I've been such a ShadyVox fan ever since the YGO GX abridged days, and hearing his music just made me love him more. Something kinda interesting is that Jack here seems like "Nice Guy" at first, but if you listen to everything, Jack seems to be taking it slow 90% of the time, and the girls he ends up with seem to want to move fast. Like "She took her skirt off he didn't notice" and "He gave her a hug, she wanted a kiss" so her hoping he'll take that step. It's kind of sad because clearly the dude is trying to be "mister right" but the girls are going for something less seriously "He just wants the one, she wants something to bite tonight" being a pretty solid line for it. Thought he was most likely a "Nice Guy" in the typical sense, but they tend to be really passive aggressive over a girl NOT wanting to get in their pants, while he seems to be keen on just having a relationship.

About that, the problem isn't that the girls want to move fast, it's that he's built up a fantasy in his head and wants the girl to conform to that. Then when she acts like a real person with wants and needs, he completely ignores that for the fantasy. He views women as these pure romantic beings, and thus is completely oblivious to physical advances. Which ironically can still lead to the relationship he wants, but he has a flawed ideal of what women are, & because of that, he can't accept an advance that he doesn't see as the way that a woman "should" do it. Hence the "She took her skirt off he didn't notice" line, lust doesn't fit in his built up feminine ideal, so he can't even see it.

I think a big part of Jack's problem is that he falls in love too fast and can't handle rejection. Any positive interaction with a woman and he's ready to call her his soulmate. So when he gets rejected, he's still stuck on them which blinds him to other girls. I think he's dealing with multiple types of women. Ones who aren't interested at all in him, ones who just want sex with him, and ones who are genuinely interested romantically. Hence the different colored bows in the video. He's "lost in the dark" because he can't figure out which women can give him what he's looking for, so he ends up alone.
