I love longer projects like this, and I love seeing multiple videos that detail each part! They're honestly my favourite kinds of videos, because then I have a whole linear playlist that I can go back and re-watch all together. The buildings look phenomenal!! Can't wait to see this all come together.

on that note, I think big long videos released at the end as "complete sereis" would be good maximizing watchtime, ect

Im a big fan of the 'entire series' video at the end of a project, someitmes i dont catch every video so having a real long vid to put on while working is nice

I also enjoy, longer projects which have a story line you can follow over several weeks or month, it actually keeps me more interested than several individual projects

Screw the YT algorithm. Keep making vids like this. I love multi part builds like this. Zorpazorp, Squidmar, and Realterrainhobbies have been killing it with their multi-part build series style. It's refreshing to see y'all take your time on a project and be able to put some passion into little details or micro-builds instead of breaking your spirits trying to do a "first ones to paint this newly released model" or "paint X in Y amount of time" clickbait vids. I know it's what YT is pushing for but those lived-in type details will only add to the narrative of this board and make it more fun to play on. If you're gonna take the time to make a permanent fixture board for future content, it'll add so much more to the narrative to have these kinds of details on it. You're building a whole world with these details and it's fun to watch.

I LOVE this project. I particularly like that you’ve spread it out. Not only does it mean it’s higher quality but it also feels more achievable for an average hobbyist. We can’t build a full scale board in a week, so why can you!? It’s truly refreshing to have one of the top KZbin channels in the hobby feel realistic in this way :)

I honestly don't care what the youtube algorithm says, I enjoy this type of video diary/blog of a large project. Seeing the non-rushed, more detailed builds and paints, even for terrain is great and shows some love for the environment we play on with our little fighting men. Keep up this sort of content, thanks for sharing.

these longer project videos are amazing, I love the fact that we can follow along (and maybe build along) over the span of weeks or months. The fact that you are able to put that much detail into a video also means that we as viewers get a really good feel of all the steps/decisions that you guys take to end up with such an amazing product, for example, the changing of the colour of the roofs, loved to see this, the tought process behind it and the before and after. if this was a video in the style of: We build a full EPIC table in a week or something, this might not make the final cut and that would have been a shame. Seeing your creative processes is really nice and I hope that youtube and the community will both love these longer projects. Just in case it wasnt already very clear, I do! Keep up the good work, I look forward to the next update!
@kithpendragon9 ай бұрын
It's good to show the process for longer projects. We see so much of the heavily cut or sensational content that sometimes it feels a bit disappointing when our own projects don't get done in a few hours. Thanks for taking a chance on the big stuff!

Great format. Detailed builds, section by section. This is entertainment and education in one fell swoop. Being yourselves makes these videos, so I’m not sure you could make them any better. Enthusiasm and love for what you do is what makes this content come alive.

I could have watched this for much longer! I’d love an extended video of the planting work. It looks so good, great details at such a tiny scale. It wasn’t until this particular video that I got interested in epic scale. Now I’m very intrigued, can’t wait to see the next video!

According to black book 3, Alpha legion were officially seen in colours of "pale grey, gleaming steel, veridian, dull bronze, sable, indigo, amaranth and azure blue - both in main and combination." and that's before they started dressing up as the other legions. I'm also a huge fan of process content, especially one off pieces like this and your conversion videos. There's only so many ways you can put paint onto a model, but everyone has a different idea about how to convert something or realising a fluff piece in model form. That individuality is what I love to see in videos and I wish it was easier to find on youtube, so I'm glad to see you guys doing so much of it

I REALLY REALLY want to see tiny citizens sitting on those park benches! Maybe there are some tiny figures who are intended to be used as vehicle drivers who are already in a seated position that could transformed for the purpose? Can there be tiny pigeons? Crows? Someone feeding them?

I cannot speak for everyone, but personally I like and appreciate these videos a lot more. Long time viewer here with my two cents. We’re had a few videos, or sets of videos which I would describe as personal, or even passion projects that occasionally show up. For example Jen’s sisters of battle knight and the cathedral build, Jazza’s space bears or even his ork models, and honestly Dave’s got way too many examples of these. I feel like we’ve never really gotten to see one for Murray, he’s always helping out with group projects, or other people with their personal projects; I also feel like half the time when he is the focus it usually ends up being very specific sponsored content. For example right after the big titan board set of videos, and it was just Jazza and Murray for a few videos it felt like he still didn’t get to choose what he got to work on. I would really like to see a project that’s creatively his. Even if it’s only adjacently miniature related. His style of working, especially when it comes to painting is fantastic, and also quite a unique take on the standard approach that at least I’m not used to seeing.
@TabletopTime9 ай бұрын
We want the same thing! And are working towards it! Viewers don't often get the full picture, and part of that picture is Dave is full time on the channel while Murray and Jenn and part time, the nature of this means it's a lot harder to schedule those passionate dives in over the work week around the schedule. Rest assured, 2024 has a lot more in store

Incorporating some time-lapse sequences might be fun on projects like this. Maybe having such a sequence could be a fun teaser at the start of the video? I enjoy this style of content. When someone within minutes reveals a finished piece that takes away from the core of this hobby, to spend time with the piece you are working on. I wouldn't mind another 5 minutes of you lot just working on the piece while talking about it "in universe", as part of the world building. "I imagine this building to be the offices of the so and so." "Could you imagine walking across the aquila gardens on your way to the ..." "This squad I am painting up right now consists of ..." I hope you get the idea. If you are passionate about the project then I want to watch your videos and hear you talk about it.

I don't know what all this youtube drama about having to make a certain video or project, ive heard several KZbin now say this. I don't know though I can't see the analytics maybe people phase put towards the end 🤔 I personally find if its a completed project I'll watch the first bit see the idea or reasoning behind it then ill skip to the end to see the finish piece if I like it I'll watch the whole thing so spacing it out makes it more of a surprise and better quality but hey that's my 2 cents. Loved this original design well done guys smashing it 8
