Here's a slideshow of how I built a new body for one of my On30 Bachmann Porter locos. Short video at the end of it running.

Großartige Kunst der Umgestaltung. Einfach fröhlich

There is nothing more satisfying than sitting down with a chassis, a few sheets of plasticard and an idea. And a few hours later looking at a unique model. I've done it many a time. Think ant and bee off the Great Lacey Mine Railway in the Isle of man in 1/35 scale

Thanks

I like this - a 'typical' steam dummy, several of which are preserved in reality. And it is good to meet another fellow modeller of the noble tradition; someone who makes things for themselves. We are not yet a dying breed.

Thanks John. I really enjoyed building this one. I do scratchbuild just about all my structures, but this was my first On30 Loco.

I like these types of locomotives the ones that like old and rundown or clapped together they're very charming

Thank you. On30 layouts tend to go with the rundown look.

This is my version of a Thom Yorke design. I just own the railroad. How the amigo's do the loco maintenance stuff is up to them. 😁
