The hodograph is a really nice feature, coins and buttons are usually very confident. Where it starts to breakdown is on deeper targets where audio is still king. Thanks for the video!

Gary Blackwell: Metal Detectorist. Poles apart from the "Fan-Boy Horde". No brand bias 'filters'. Mind fully open to the nuances of every machine. Never a disparaging word voiced in the public domain. Proper old-school, with vast experience of "the school yard", but never the bully. Great video,mate. So much more to come on this machine it has many interesting adjustments and tweaks in the menu, all of which is easily accessible. That tone adjustment we made in the field made a world of difference to the signal. I particularly like the frequency screen adjustment. Operation quick lock is a simple but great feature, especially for those who love to chat with fellow detectorists at rallies or digs. 👍

Thanks for the video yes definitely in some areas single frequency can give a better result.The inconsistency in Roman coin signals is interesting.It’s possible that the metal used was the most available at the time of manufacture very little in any quality control unlike today. A while back i found a coin coated in a brown powder substance which gave off a distinct rusty odour which I reckon nearby a large bit of iron had rusted away and coated it .I had used a multi over that area but this time I was using a 14khz single frequency detector and it was a good non iron signal 👍
