Scratching for EDIBLES off the rocks | Fishing Paradise | Witsand | ASFN Rock & Surf

Join Rean and others on a two-day fishing adventure at Witsand, a renowned fishing paradise! On the first day, it started quietly with a couple of small catches, but as the day progressed, they hit there stride with a variety of small edible fish, accompanied by several bait demos featuring pink prawn and a white mussel bait demo, as well as insights into tying the FG knot.
Day two found them at a picturesque spot near the Breede River, beginning the morning with rocky shore fishing. Though the day started slow, they managed to reel in a few small Galjoen and a lone Kobbie. As the day unfolded, they encountered more edible species, including a small shark, making for an eventful session.
While their weren't any prize catches, it was a rewarding weekend with a diverse array of species caught, such as Wilde Perd, Galjoen, Kob, Steenbras, Blacktail and quite a few small White Mussel Cracker. Noteworthy were a few nice-sized Blacktail among the various catches.
Throughout day two, Rean also showcased additional bait demos, including one featuring Redbait demo, and discussed the importance of water reading.

Lekke Rean!.. Daai Witsand het n sagte plekkie in hart. Hengel hom elke geleentheid wat ek kry. Gaan die eerste naweek in Aug bietjie gaan hengel daar net voor die Derby se naweek.... Arms los maak vir n harde hengel sessie wat volg.
