Ever since he was introduced, it has been my headcanon that Apoo’s voice permanently has a synth filter over it. The logic being that his entire body is an instrument or a soundboard, so why not his voice, too? It makes it a joy to imagine when reading the manga. It makes his voice extremely unique and his character stand out in my mind since very little else in the OP world could replicate that kind of effect on a person’s voice.

Oda did such a good job with the Sabondy arc. While some of the Supernovas were forgettable (Capone, Mad Monk, Killer, Bonney) characters like Law, Kid, Apoo, X Drake and Hawkins were awesome. They became instant fan favorites despite only appearing in a small number of issues/episodes and even to this day we still don't know anything new about their abilities (except Law). Yet everyone still loves them. Can't wait to see how everything plays out with them in the New World
