Love this illustration it has a real Alice in wonderland storybook feel to it. Now I need to play with my inktense pencils again so I'll catch you on the next one x

Awesome piece. Good interpretation. Love it. Found the gouache awful. Took a lot to get more than a watery mess out of the tube whatever I did.

If I was from Enfield I would have that as a tattoo. And I don't have tattoos, yet. I was so vibing with the music too, it is a waltz, right? A bit dramatic one though (hope I am not making a fool of myself)

I never tried taking the colour directly from the watercolour pencil. Instead I drew on a piece of paper and took the colour from there (like a palette). I will try using them that way one day… A nice …. Wolpertinger (as we call creatures like this in Bavaria) 🫣I forgot the name you told us before 😅

Technically I think we’d call it chimera. But I like wolpertinger.
