also wes had an entirley different death to where he was suppose to survive the door attack and hit ghostface with plates and even stab ghostface with a plate shard and then run up to his room and get his secret gun and then ghostface wil put him against the wall and the would fight over the gun till ghostface put the barrel up to his chin and fired straight througj the top of his head.

Fun Facts: 1. The Original Scream cast did voice overs Drew Barrymore was the principal on the intercom in the beginning about school being out. Also, Matthew Lillard (Stu) was the one in the KZbin channel with the medal ghostface mask and at the party he's the one that said " Nice house". Jamie Kennedy (Randy) was the one that made the comment about the some goofy dad is here sending everyone home. Hayden (Kirby), principal Himbry were part of the "For Wes" when they cheered. 2. Also on that KZbin channel on the side of the screen it was a Easter egg that confirmed Kirby survived from Scream 4 where she did a interview of being a survivor. She's also a contact in Dewey's phone. There was another side clip on the KZbin channel asking if Stu is still alive. 3. When Chad picked up the candle stick as a weapon it was reference to when Sidney grabbed a candle stick in Scream 3 to use as a weapon against Roman. 4. Sidneys husband Mark is Detective Mark Kincaid from Scream 3. 5. Don't know if Y'all notice but when Wes was in the kitchen setting the plates for dinner on the fridge there was a note about the lemon squares lol.

the movie 100% lived up to expectations by far one of my favorites and really hit home with the connections to the original, can't wait to see how they up the next one!!! I hope Tara ends up becoming the actual final girl of this trilogy because woww her performance was amazing !!

I love this movie and how close it is to the original. It's brutal and gory because that is the type of movies the directors of this one tend to do. They had a lot of gore and brutal kills in their movie Ready or not as well at least by the trailer any way. Neve wasn't sure she wanted to be in a Scream without Wes but the directors convinced her and showed her how important it was to them to not ruin Wes's legecy. I think havig Sam as Billy's daughter was a nice touch and having the actor there as well as cool. Fun fact when the principle said all classes are cancelled in the beginning that was Drew Barrimore's voice. I knew Amber was the killer the moment I saw her after Tara was attacked and they all got together at school but Richi it took me until the hospital scene when he was knocked out by Amber instead of killed to figure him out. The talk about how Stab 8 made the fans angry was a nod to all those who hated every movie after the first one or maybe to those who were split in opinions about the third and forth movies. For me the 4rth one was just crap from beginning to end but I do love the actors they had there.

I thought it was refreshing that all the minorities in this movie ended up surviving. They were attacked and not in the best place before the end but they were all still alive. Very different for a movie in the horror/slasher genre.

In the Scream universe there are 8 Stab movies. But Stab 8 is simply called Stab, and veered off in another direction compared to the other 7 movies. But there isn't a Stab movie about the events of Scream 4. They didn't turn that one into a movie for some reason.
