I think the pink shade on the subway poster for Stu, represents him being in a mental institution. He could have been declared unfit for a criminal trial, which would have negated the OG cast survivors from testifying. As far as they are concerned, he is locked up & not a concern to them. If Henry Czerny is a therapist or similar…this is how he would have likely come across Stu Macher…who I believe will be revealed (in one way or another) as the mastermind, at the very end. Henry won’t likely be the ass kicking ghostface in the trailers…but a pawn of Stu. I am likely dead wrong, but theories are half the fun of scream movies!!!

I think this poster means that Ghostface could be anyone anywhere at anytime. Like he could be in a crowd in NYC and be hiding out in the open - I don't think it has anything to do with how many ghostface killers there are.

Here’s my take….these movies are known for constantly dropping hints for us to figure out. She dropped that line and most didn’t bat an eye…that was her admitting to a cult following. People claim stu was a lackey but he was very much apart of the beginning and the planning. If he was able to survive which we know is possible he can easily be behind this!

I had a thought about that 10 statement by Gale. She said "you're like the 10th guy", in actuality, there's only been 6 male killers and 3 female ones. So in Scream 6, there could be 3 killers, all men, making it 9 guy killers total, and this one calling her the 10th guy. So the Gale scene is at the end of the movie, maybe there's a time jump, a year or two have passed. And she gets a phonecall, Ghostface shows up, she shoots the closet, he bursts out at her and cut to end credits, we have to wait until 7 to see if she survives. 😆 👻 🔪

I would like a Ghostface cult, all the possibility of killers in the city, anywhere, but I'm afraid that all the Ghostfaces on the posters are more Halloween-related than a cult. And the famous scene of the discovery of the old mask by Sam, as you already said, yes the final scene after all the events of the 6th film. But with the new poster, the halloween parade, what if in the finale, one of the Ghostfaces isn't revealed, and he runs away during the final fight and the ensuing confusion to drop his mask and that Sam discovers it the morning, in this scene, and the audience realize, that it's not over yet, THE big revelation for the mastermind in the 7th. I don't know but damn I can't wait to see the movie.

Character posters for Scream 6 are so good! The Ghostface poster you talked about in the beginning though, could be hinting at 6 killers, because there’s another poster with 6 Ghostfaces, but then again there’s all types of different posters, at this point, so idk, I saw the Christmas poster I’m pretty sure had 5 Ghostface’s, so idk, but the cult idea or group of killers idea could possibly be happening, and the McKenzies stuff could have a connection to the film in some way, or it could just be a Easter egg/ reference, the Stab musical stuff should be interesting, I’m not sure where they’re going with that, but it seems intriguing for sure, also in the Character posters for Scream 6, you realize there’s not a character poster with Henry Czerny? Im wondering why that is, and I’m wondering why in general why he’s not really apart of the marketing, is it because he’s just a small minor character? Or is he the killer/ mastermind?

Just a head's up! Cinemark is carrying really cool Ghostface popcorn buckets, as well as a cartoony Ghostface cup! A family member was kind enough to pick a couple up for me today, and they only seem to have a very small amount until the film releases (like 20!), and then they will have more upon release. I'd snap them up if you have a Cinemark near you, they're really cool!

Lol this whole franchise borrows from other horror films, of course they can reuse their own ideas. Technically is was never done Scream 3 was totally different. And they reuse parts of old scripts anyways,,those ideas never get thrown out. I get it people don't want Stu back lol besides Hollywood films are nothing but repetitive anyways. Amber actress play Once Upon a Time in Hollywood, got killed the exact same way in that film as SC5. The ladder scene in 6 comes from Nerve starring Emma Roberts the actress who played Jill in 4. I could practically name all the other franchises Scream has borrowed from, the only true originality it has is its ghost face and multiple people play the role. Scream did a good job of repackaging other horror films, creating something unique but not necessarily new or authentically original.

I think Laura is going to be the mastermind or main ghostface. She’s a teacher at Blackmore University and she’s going to have student ghostfaces doing her bidding. I think one of the student ghostfaces will be Anika and the whole ladder scene is a fake out to make Mindy think she’s is dead. If there are more ghostfaces I’m not sure who they will be because I just don’t see anyone else being ghostface and maybe it’s someone who hasn’t been named in the publicity yet but we will be briefly introduced to early in the film.

@@warrior.4895 could be totally off base, I don’t think she’s just the opening kill, there’s more going on with her in my opinion, I also don’t believe she’s just a McKenzie who’s killing to avenge Liv, that’s weak sauce. Her admitting its revenge just not how we think and then that’s the twist, that’s interesting to me, and it only works cuz Casey Becker is the Scream standard for this entire franchise, like that’s taking it back to the beginning literally. I also think it works within the novice of “we’re here to end this so more families are not ruined like mine was” I could see her however being overtaken by the mastermind ghostface, who I think will be the one to go on for 7, she’ll think this was a righteous thing and then be revealed to be someone else’s pawn who in fact doesn’t want this to end. Few things as we get closer and seeing all the marketing. I’m thinking they want us to believe there’s a cult, but I don’t think that’s true. I’d like to hear a discussion on all the IG stories that Screammovies posted with all the captions to the promo shots. Especially Tara’s saying “I’m going to finish what I started.” THAT one is driving me crazy to know what that means. I can’t get on board with Stu returning, but clearly there was a character involved that we don’t know about that was part of Scream 5, and when it’s revealed, we might look at how things were done in Scream 5 with the killers. My money for the killer is Kirby, but trying to kill the bloodline and those involved so it can all end so no one else is in danger to come after any survivors (clearly she’s a bit crazy). Her counter part could ALSO be Mindy - with her shoulder stab that happened off-screen makes her a little suspect. I just really hope it’s not Josh Segarra, we don’t need another obvious looking killer who is the boyfriend.
