I need to get 'The Thing', all I have is the Universal release. I never even watched my copy, but watched the film at a friend's house 17 years ago when I was in the 7th grade lol. Thanks for sharing Todd, I don't even own a single Scream Factory, but I have one Shout, 'Midnight Run'.

Hi Jason, good to hear from you. You should check out that the thing release, and look into their catalog a little bit more I’m sure you’ll find something you like. It’s a really cool company. They specialize in a lot of older horror films from the 70s and 80s.

Lot of cool collectors editions there. Your lacking a lot of gems when it comes to their standard non collectors editions. Body Parts, Brainscan (which should have been a CE), Evilspeak, Gate 2, Leviathan, RobotJox, Witchboard. I really love scream factory's double features too. Theres still quite a few of those I dont own yet I saw in your collection. I'd say out of those you need that Scanners 2 & 3, as well as the Vampires Kiss / High Spirits double feature. Anyway, excellent collection. I'll keep an eye out for further videos to help give me an idea of what I'm missing from my own collection.

Loved this overview buddy, thanks for sharing! My Scream Factory collection is growing a great deal these days - several shelves as well at this point with many of the awesome titles you showed... Been looking for The Slumber Party Collection for a while now, but man it’s consistently way overpriced on eBay for what it is! Still need to add a Pumpkinhead slip at some point, but now I’m equally enticed to double-dip on the upcoming SteelBook, haha! 😆

Todd!!! Bro, at the end of your video is that the talking Jason figure that was sold at Walgreens back around 2008-2009ish?!? I have the exact same one along with the Freddy figure. Both of mine still work yet too. Great collection as usual, Todd. And thanks so much for putting in the time with this one as Scream Factory has a lot movies to go through. Two releases that come to mind as a must own would be the steelbook of Halloween 2. That cover art is badass and it’s one of my favorite sequels in the franchise. The other one would be the Critters box set. Just some: fun, silly popcorn movies that you can unplug your brain before you watch them. Take care, buddy!

My Freddy has always worked since day one I’ve never had to replace the batteries, but the Jason figure I’ve had to replace the batteries twice so far but he still works as well. Great capper to your Scream Factory videos. I appreciate your comments on the value of certain films, as it influences whether I'm going to pick it up or not. For some reason, youtube has started interrupting videos with commercials (which you can skip after a couple of seconds). The very weird Manscaped commercial came up twice. Two recommendations which are both Shout Select, I think, are Streets of Fire, a terrific rock 'n roll fantasy movie by Walter Hill (with two feature length documentaries about the movie) and Dragnet - a fine comedy with Dan Akyroyd, Tom Hanks and Alexandra Paul as "the virgin, Connie Swail". The Vampire Lovers was not a limited edition, but the Velvet Vampire was. Thanks for all of your efforts.

@@ToddEWalnuts Oh yes, understood. It's happening on other videos on youtube also. Videos can be 10 or 12 minutes and two ads will pop up. youtube is a great, free service, and i can tolerate a couple of ads. Some are informative and entertaining, e.g., movie and tv ads.

Hi Todd, I bought back this april, some Scream Factory movies, including Dead Ringers, came with a slip cover (maybe not a big seller), and bought for 5 dollars on Hamilton Book, the Into the abyss documentary from Herzog , one of the death row cases, don’t know if that’s one of what you talked. Okay, I'm going to skip the normal hero worship portion of my comments and just get right to the point. Scream / Shout Factory collaborated with Anchor Bay for a Halloween box set. Now, they have collaborated with Paramount / New Line for a Friday the 13th box set. Which, from the looks of it, will be utterly amazing! However, as all horror fans know...the current Nightmare on Elm Street box set is complete crap! In your opinion, MAYBE next October, could we FINALLY get to see a PROPER Nightmare on Elm Street box set done by Scream Factory? They must currently have a good relationship with New Line, in order to get the distribution rights for Friday. You KNOW that these sets are selling like hotcakes, already. Am I the only one that thinks a Nightmare box set is now a REAL possibility? PS...it goes without saying, I love the videos brother!

wow you have a awesome Scream Factory collection (I had no idea Return of the Living Dead had a alternative slip case (not sure how i missed that) looking forward to the Friday the 13th Box Set but, not sure where i’ll put it (Speaking of which is that some type of book case you have the blu-rays in??? if so did you make it or did you find a retailer that you bought it from (Been looking off & on for a HQ bookcase but, have had no luck) i guess there’s always Craigslist but, with everything going on don’t feel like dealing with strangers

I have a few bookshelf style shelving units that I purchased at a local furniture store. They had them listed as bookshelves but they are perfect for blu rays, DVDs, VHS, just about anything fits in there. They were about $300 apiece, so they’re not cheap but they are very nice.

That’s hard to say. They usually produce more slipcovers than they do posters, so just because the poster sells out doesn’t always mean the slipcover sold out too. I wish they would list in the item description how many slipcovers are left when you order. Vinegar Syndrome lists how many slips are left on their website.

Always enjoy your videos but you don' have to be apologetic about complaining about flimsy packaging. Maybe it wasn't this particular video but in one of your recent ones you kept apologizing for saying Shout should use sturdier packaging for their box sets and you're completely right. For the money we pay we should get much better quality packaging. Anyway, thanks for sharing your collection. BTW, if there's a movie you don't like, why keep it on the shelf? Get rid of it so you can make more room for the titles you DO love. Cheers.

I do that two, but I been collection horror films since beta and vhs and going to dvd over hundreds of titles was a investment of its own. I promised my wife when I went to blue ray only favs. I love your scream collection I own a few of those. Return of the Living Dead is my fav scream title. I was so happy they got 99% of the soundtrack back. The dvd was awful. I have upgraded some blue titles myself. Creepshow from scream from the old warner relases and Night of the creeps from the old sony. Becase I wanted the orgianl ending back I hated directors cut ending. Are you gonna buy Friday the 13th set from them? I am not happy with the first one on Blue only and I have all the ultimate dvd editions with slipcovers.
