It surprises me that some people say anyone could play Sidney. I disagree. Neve Campbell made her seem very real: she's curious, likes boys and parties like every other girl but fights like hell even when she's cornered by two killers. She's a more convincing female protagonist than the ones in the Disney/Marvel movies they keep cranking out.
