I have only seen her in person three rollicking good times. I would happily see her every week! A friend and I went to see her at the Newark Valley [NY] Music Festival. You could tell she was really tired from the grueling tour schedule, but her piano mastery was right there. When we in the crowd were jolted into life by her playing, and started moving forward to hear as close as possible, she brightened up and really responded to our enthusiasm, and totally let 'er rip! What a gas! One of the most exciting musical events of my life. What a gift she is!

What an amazing talent. Marcia lives in my head with songs like this, Red Dress, and that one about pleading with the judge about a baseball hat. Just absolutely a joy to listen to.
