I work for a shop and I'm self taught mostly from KZbin sadly. We are getting more into bella. With that said I get tons of ladies flowy tanks. What your best advice for print bright white on dark flowys. Owners only use standard plastisols. Which when I print them are heavy and most of the time print straight through the garmet and leaving print on the pallet. Thank you

"$500 on the higher end" to start a screen printing business sounds way off... The minimum necessary items to provide professional quality prints include: a printing press, a flash curing unit or another means to cure the ink, an exposure unit, a printer, printer ink, vellum to print on, screens, emulsion, plastisol ink, ink scoops, a squeegee, a washout booth, screen cleaner, blackout tape, an adhesive to keep the shirt from moving... it's more like $5,000, and that's if you purchase lower quality used equipment

Hi Nicholas! Thanks for sharing. While it would be good to have all the items you listed, Rene mentioned that, to get the ball rolling, all you would need is a simple tabletop press, one or two inks, a squeegee and just a few shirts -- the rest will come as you start to print! As you start to take on jobs and build out your client-base, you can acquire more materials over time. You definitely don’t need to stock your shop to get going, you can slowly build up as you go.
