Screen Protector Fingerprint Not Working S22

I have the S22 and when i put the protector on, my fingerprint stopped working. If you got to "Settings" then "Display" and then scroll down to "Touch Sensitivity" and turn on. This feature works for your fingerprint to work. Although your method was not tried by me, the screen protector I purchased read it would work. I ended up damaging it because I didn't know either of these methods. Great video. Glad someone made it!

Is there a workaround if you already deleted all of your fingerprints and the biometrics feature is not allowing you to add a new fingerprint?

I have a screen protector that supposedly works with the on screen fingerprint detector, but when trying to get my fingerprint scanned it took a thousand touches and tries to get one fingerprint registered. Without the screen protector it took about 500 tries. I didn't have thi as problem with my old phone 😕

Make sure the Screen protector is properly aligned and that the Fingerprint portion is making contact with the screen.

@@rickytlc1985 It's aligned. It a ZAGG screen protector and doesn't have a cut out for the fingerprint detector but is supposed to work with it according to the box.

Thank you for you tips and reccomendation, I lost my cellphone and got a replacement phone. I never tried to use fingerprint on my old phone because I could never get it to work. Now with a new cell, I tried your tips, and lo and behold it works! Thanks again!

Thank for the tips. Could you show the process of training fingerprints with the tempered glass protector? Nearly every store review for tempered glass protectors says the protector blocks the fingerprint scanner from working on the S22 utlra.

They have ones that don't block the Fingerprint, but they have to place a special composite material in the area of the fingerprint. Its noticeable when the screen is off but not on. To get the fingerprint to recognize you can it as normal but adding it at least twice improves recognition.

my problem is that the fingerprint circle on the screen protector is smeared with glue and my phone doesn't even let me try to set a new fingerprint and I tried to press the glue out but it's already stuck on it

Doesn’t work on my Vivo X Fold, once I place the screen protector it doesn’t let me scan a new fingerprint as it doesn’t detect it, and the phone also doesn’t let me scan more than once the same fingerprint, I bought 3 screen protectors and I have to throw them away ☹️

Not sure what u mean? I Asume u mean or u need clarification-use a card/old ID to press the area with the special material for the fingerprint scanner to make sure it makes perfect contact.If it does not it can affect the scanner.
