Screen Scrape Multiple PDF Files with UiPath Example

Need an example of how to screen scrape multiple files with UiPath, PDF files specifically? In this tutorial wit use UiPath Studio to loop through a group of PDF files located in the same directory. One at a time we do a UiPath screen scrape of the PDF files and extract a specific piece of data. In this UiPath screen scrape example we simply print out the value of a desired column to prove that everything works. But once you see how easy it is to screen scrape multiple files with UiPath, you'll be limited by nothing more than your creativity and problem solving abilities.

How would you do it if the PDFs opened in different tabs within a browser as opposed to Adobe reader?

Ohh... That's a good question. An interesting 'corner-case.' I'll give it a try but no promises. Some of the handsome UiPath folk on StackOverflow might come up with a quicker answer.

Rather than using data scraping for multiple PDF files, would you perhaps explain how to do this with multiple URLS or web pages that don't use next? Some of the URLS have multiple links to other pages of data in search within them but not all of the URLs I am doing this with have other pages.

I'd probably give up. But the screen scraper does ask you if the PDF spans multiple pages. Sadly, I haven't used that feature. Maybe that'll be a future video? Or maybe you can record a video on the topic for me?

Data Scrape typically deals with tabular data, especially in web pages. That's the difference.
