I've discovered that it is a very powerful video composing and editing tool but I didn't know about these fantastic shortcuts. I will definitely be using pretty much all of them. ¡Bien hecho y gracias!

@@GRUMO Sure did! for some reason "close gap" is greyed out but Com+Delete works fine.. I have a question.. is there any way to "bounce to place" (audio lingo) meaning to create a new clip with all the edits of the track inside the same project? I'm dealing with a slow computer and I find that by doing that on audio software I'm able to save on computer processing making it faster to move around.. Dealing with 2 video tracks drives me crazy so any performance tips will be greatly appreciated!!
@GRUMO4 жыл бұрын
@@PatPosse For "close gap" to work you need to fist double click over the gap so it is selected in blue. Then the "close gap" button will be enabled. I don't know what you mean with the second question. You could render a section of your video or audio track and then reimport it into ScreenFlow. You would lose a bit of quality but it would help with speed as whatever number of video/audio tracks were exported would be baked into a single one.
@PatPosse4 жыл бұрын
@@GRUMO Thanks! Yeah, I do that now, basically export a section then load it back into the project. Thanks for your help man!

Is it just me or selecting gaps after making cuts sometimes takes me several clicks instead of one?
@GRUMO3 жыл бұрын
I've noticed the same issue. This happens because before clicking on the gap a clip was selected (a selected clip has a yellow boundary). If that is the case, then you need one click to unselect the clip and a second click to select the gap. If no clips were selected, then it only takes one click to select the gap.

HI, Do you have any idea how I can make a video Loop in Screenflow? I want it to play continuous. Many Thanks
@GRUMOАй бұрын
You can’t loop in ScreenFlow only on your video player. To loop a video in QuickTime Player on a Mac, follow these steps: 1. Open the Video: Launch QuickTime Player and open the video you want to loop. 2. Go to the View Menu: In the menu bar at the top of your screen, click on “View.” 3. Enable Looping: From the dropdown menu, select “Loop.” A checkmark will appear next to “Loop,” indicating that the video will now continuously play in a loop. 4. Play the Video: Press the play button to start the video. It will automatically loop back to the beginning once it finishes. To stop looping, you can simply go back to the “View” menu and uncheck “Loop.”

Help please! I am first time user trying to prep for an impt video call I simply want to record. At the moment I am not interested in EDITING or using timeline to make instructional videos. I bought Screenflow primarily to RECORD VIDEO CALLS, where audio from both the Mac browser etc, as well as audio from my external mic both gets recorded. Very frustrating that nowhere I've searched "Screenflow record video calls" both on Google and KZbin, and all I get are lengthy tutorials on how to soup to nuts receord/edit etc. Can't find anyone anywhere who just gets to the point re video call recording. I'm looking for 1, 2, 3, 4 -- not having to learn an entire interface and application. At some later point i would be interested in learning the edit functions. If you can help, please do. Test recording I just made was crappy on all audio -- from browser onscreen, and from my USB mic.

Step 1. Configure recording to record your computer screen, microphone, and audio coming from computer. Step 2. Record call.

How to import screen flow videos to edit in Final Cut Pro?
@GRUMO4 жыл бұрын
You need to export the ScreenFlow project as a video file and the import that file into Final Cut for editing.
@miguelsandremusic4 жыл бұрын
Grumo Media that is a possibility. The only thing I would love to see Screenflow do is to have the software store the media data in a format Final Cut or Premiere can accept instead of .scc format. That way we only have to either import from the menu option or simply drag and drop, instead of waiting a video to export, to edit and then export again as an oficial video.
@GRUMO4 жыл бұрын
I see what you mean. That would be nice indeed. Maybe they’ll release that feature eventually but for now importing a solid video file seems to be the only solution.
@miguelsandremusic4 жыл бұрын
Grumo Media i really hope so. Screenflow is my go to for screen recording which I do very often, but editing is a bit limiting. Maybe if they update their editing capabilities like improving color grading tools and audio editing tools to match a professional editing software, I might consider doing everything within Screenflow as my screen recorder and editing software.

Can you record in more than 60 FPS?

Grumo Media thank you for answering but I have another question, How do I change screenrecording resolution on screen flow? I am asking this because I recorded a video but it has black bars on the side
@alexbohrer20954 жыл бұрын
I've loved ScreenFlow however (Telestream) is absolutely useless with Logic Pro piano due to severe latency. There appears to be no solution . This means as a piano teacher I can't play anything remotely fast without the sound trailing the actual striking of the keys.
@GRUMO4 жыл бұрын
Alex, ScreenFlow is very resource intensive. That means if you don't have a fast computer it may have trouble handling multiple applications open at the same time. I recently upgraded to a 2019 Macbook Pro and all my latency issues were resolved.
@alexbohrer20954 жыл бұрын
@@GRUMO I've got the latest iMac with 64 gigs of ram so it's not a computer speed issue. I researched and found out it is a known common problem related to Apple/Telestream non compatibility issues.
