Frozen 2 is finally here! And among all the epic scenes, new songs, and great adventures are a ton of hidden moments and Easter Eggs. Time to thaw these frozen treats out as we uncover hidden Disney references, a fun connection to the band Queen, and a great tie-in to Gravity Falls.
Despite taking place three years after the first Frozen, the film is still filled with plenty of flashbacks -- including the opening scenes where we see a young Anna and Elsa playing together. Instead of the standard toys, the little girls enjoy some time with snowman figurines. Watch to see what characters are hidden among the designs. One of Elsa’s big songs in Frozen 2 is “Into the Unknown”. The song helps set her off on her journey -- and provides us with plenty of lyrics to sing along with. In the movie -- the song is also filled with all kinds of great visuals -- including one hidden Mickey that appears in a blink and you miss it moment. While Frozen’s time setting prevents a lot of modern-day references, we do hear Anna use the word “epic” as a kid -- and there’s also a great reference to the band Queen. After struggling to propose to Anna, Kristoff decides to sing about his feelings in the song “Lost in the Woods”. Well, it turns out the song had all the vibes of a 80’s music video and one of the moments was a direct reference to the Queen song Bohemian Rhapsody. Watch to see all of these moments and so many others in Frozen 2!

The parents could still totally be alive. Her mom harnessed the wind before to save her future husband, and when Elsa makes sculptures of them in their "last moments" the water is coming around them, but nothing is touching them. Maybe their mother used the wind to create some kind of air bubble or pocket. And as the rule goes, if you didn't see them die on screen there is still a chance they live.

I personally like the scene where Elsa's on the balcony minding her own business and she's clearly gotten the hang of her powers because she can touch the rail and it won't freeze over but as soon as she's startled by the servants interrupting her quiet moment, she gets 2 slightly larger than hand size spiky Ice chunks on the rail showing us she hasn't quite mastered it yet

Don't forget during "Into the Unknown", Elsa pulls back her braid as a call back to "Let It Go", however, the next scene, the braid is over the shoulder again, but you never see it move back (heaven forbid we see the braid go through her shoulder again). It seems in some versions, "Show Yourself" is titled "I am Found" (I saw this in the IMAX credits.) "Some Things Never Change" tells of how everything will go wrong in the movie... The Flag flies off when Gale blows through Arendale, and a great stone wall crumbles, just for a couple references.

It's Andersen, not Anderson as many people erroneously name him as. Hence the last three letters of his name "-sen" sound very similar to Sven and when you say, Hans, Kristoff, Anna and Sven quickly, it almost sounds like saying Hans Christian Andersen.
