Screens in Jira (Issue type Screen Scheme)

Hey, in this video tutorial, I will show you how to utilize screens in Jira. If you wonder how to set a different screen scheme for Jira depending on an issue type, watch this tutorial as I will show you how to do it from scratch. I will use Jira Cloud again, but it will work similarly to Jira Server or DC. What is a screen? Screens group all available fields (or a subset of all open fields) defined in Jira applications and organize them for user presentation.

It is incredible how difficult it is to setup Jira properly. Its over-convoluted for no reason at all.

The option of Projects > Project settings > Issue > Screens is not available for me. Does it change in the last year since the video? Or should I enable the option somehow? I create the whole account just for me and playing with Jira so I have all the permissions, but it is a fee account. Thanks for your time

Hi, thanks for the comment so it looks like you are using Team Managed project layout which I kind of fucking hate them :) To check, you need to create a new project and use Company manage project type and see if it's there. You still will be able to adjust fields in TM but it's little dfiffrent
