Johnny is so compelling to listen to and so articulate. Very intelligent in his answers and explanations. I think the horror and extreme trauma of being psychologically,emotionally and physically abused by that disgusting, lying narcissist has had an effect on him, as anyone who have gone through such horrendous abuse. It takes a lifetime to get over, but he is so strong and never feels sorry for himself, he’s a fighter. An absolutely wonderful man!!

A machine wouldn't have any need to try to make the world a better place and help people. He sacrificed everything he was trying to accomplish, everything he had accomplished because it was what his wife wanted at the time and to save his friend from getting killed by the same person who killed him and a lot of other people. Johnny's character killed no one yet other people had no issue killing out of fear of the unknown.

The movie gave us the typical perspective of A.I. while accessing the Internet, the world. But, I wish it would have proposed what Will and Evelyn's existence was like still from their point of view, at the end, as part of the water, sky, sunflowers, etc. without the Internet.

Anyone think about this now? Replika and other AI software are beginning this technology right now. If you think this is just a movie Johnny Depp is completely right this is in use and will be our future. It's pretty messed up.

Since - luckily - humanity doesn't understand its intelligence, we won't be able to upload a consciousness digitally anywhere. At least not the real consciousness of that person, perhaps merely a simulated interpretation thereof, but definitely not the real one. Besides... I'm afraid there might become a Borg-like singularity. It'd solve a lot of problems, but also erase individuality.
@carolynm84212 жыл бұрын
@@igordasunddas3377 what we call consciousness is a result of mathematical computations taking place in our neurons. Even if Penrose were right, that does not mean we couldn't replicate it as it is all math.

@@carolynm8421 wrong. We have a living spirit given to us from God. We are not just flesh and bones. This is a AI-nano takeover of creation by very dark and evil entities. The ultimate separation from God and nature.

@@WordofLifeEternal it only seems "dark and evil" to you because you don't understand it. "God" means many things to many cultures but I'm not going to go through why you believe what you believe. I will only say that we humans are our best hope to end suffering and pain and to better understand the universe. We will keep moving forward, using technology as a tool as we always have, to do that.

Who doesn't love Johnny Depp? I happen to be one of the lucky actresses who's experienced his obsessive ---ness and it might be blamed on my ability to play Marilyn like no other, but I have a Tony Curtis script he is born to play one day, and I will keep it secret until he says it is really time to be a never ending sex symbol in motion pictures and television. hahaha...( samesign ads Tony Curtis too, Gemini- so Johnny , if your readin this now, I will never stop thinking you are the best actor alive in comedy of all time, just get prepared for a little more drama with me. To upload consciousness to pc..or net how can they do that when nobody knows what consciousness is or where it is. Can you say where is it? No. I think Johnny was just promoting the film. But even if you could why would you? And god has nothing to do with this as spirit is free to do whatever it wants.but is it wrong? Ye probably.and why are people looking for eternal life when we already are immortal,the soul,spirit i mean. Body is just robot :) with consciousness to drive it!

Great movie it made me cry at the end especially, it makes us think about a lot of things though how much technology has changed and how fast it’s changing. I know I have eternal life through Jesus who died on the cross and rose again three days later. John 3:16 For God so loved the world that He gave His one and only Son that whoever believes in Him shall not perish but have everlasting life. 1 Corinthians 1:18 For the message of the cross is foolishness to those who are perishing, but to us who are being saved it is the power of God.
