Hi Coach Brando, all the way from Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. I've been following your videos and would like to Thank YOU for all your videos so far; short, precise and effective. You have pointed out one crucial point for many beginners like me; the mental side of the game. This video is indeed very useful, playing the screw shots with positive thinking... indeed, it is all in the head.

Hi Snooker Coach Brando. I think that your ideas on how to play screw shots correctly make very good sense. Unfortunately, I have a problem in playing this type of shot with confidence, because of a fear of miscueing. I need to lower my bridge hand slightly and practice soft screw shots to begin with, and, then, gradually build up power with this type of shot as I become more skilful. Thank you for this video.

Guilty of everything Brandon says regarding not being able to play a deep screw shot , I've never got anywhere trying to master the technique when aiming lower , I will practice the examples shown in this video and hopefully unshackle the follow through required for an affective deep screw.

It's everything, get that cue as far through the ball as you possibly can.

I'm the opposite, I can play deep screw with no issues but power stun is a problem for me. Go figure..

Alter your cue hand a bit to the front or to the back, may work.
