I love how he says it lays over at 8500 when the hemi in our Chevelle goes to almost 11 grand under full load, and it only runs a 6-71 roots blower

Look at it again. Hr said the roots laid over at 8500. Then he said they shift this set up at 10,000. Rpm.

With all the Screw Blowers out there, i wonder why people would even think about using a Roots Blower, i know certain classes the rules allow for the use of either Blower to be used, where the Roots Combo usually gets a weight break over the Screw Blowers, due to the Screw being "Better" ? There definitely more efficient, that's why I'm always wondering Why would someone choose a Roots over a Screw ? To me better efficiency equals Lower Inlet Temperature Charge, Less Power needed to turn, and More Power ! To me a Screw beats Roots Everytime.
