@Brian Jones I disagree (respectfully)... Im gonna say that the old saying " dont hate the playa, hate the game" rings true". For years MLB knew these guys were Juicing and were complicit because at some point the ratings were down and fan attendance was down. The Adults at MLB also knew that young kids would be emulating their idols and did nothing until a senator decided that enough is enough. If you are gonna call for Arod to be shunned then go after his enablers also. I have never been an Arod fan until post-career. I like his business acumen and his personality. As long as he isnt a pedophile, abuser of women, men, children and animals; a murderer, drug dealer, pimp or tax evader, Im ok with it. If MLB should shun Alex then Fan should shun MLB then what? millions of Dollars exchanged hands for sure
