@@terrilandry1313 agree 💯 with you I'm old enough to be both Doug and Ashley's dad & done some building and roofing of my own in business and jobs and I've always found their videos very intriguing to say the least! Gotta give people credit to be this age they are and take on huge projects like the 2 of them do it's the same as I was at their age! It's called being raised to get off your duff and work hard to make a living. Most Young people nowadays are too lazy to work in a pie 🥧 factory tasting pies 😂. But Lord in heaven it's the Truth, but I blame parents for letting them stay home and mooche off of them. My parents told me in early 1980s you're 18 get a job and get out and don't come back except to visit! They said you're always welcome here we love you but you're a grown man go to work and stand on your own two feet. I done ✅ just that I got out and beat the bush looking for work and I never looked back! So I admire young people who work hard and make their own path in life and don't look for a hand out. It's the pathway to the American dream. People say the American dream is dead, I say no it's not for those like Doug and Ashley who's willing to work hard. Loved your comment by the way 😁👍🏼

Hardly any waste when you do insulating. As a matter of fact, you save pieces of wood, unused paint, etc to use to save money. Smart move on your part. You also make projects easier on yourself and save time by doing what works for you. You've become so experienced that anyone can learn from each of your videos. Therefore they are not boring!

You may think that insulation is boring, but I just learned something.... slice the back for the wires. I am about to insulate a garage wall that is the back of an interior wall. I know nothing about insulation, so I am about to start learning. I think that I am going to call the local building supply store (not a big box store) to find out the best type of insulation for our area and application. Thanks for your videos to inspire me.

There are many words that come to mind any time I think of Eevee and Doug. Just a few = great parents, wonderful role models, kind-hearted, genuine, truly hard-working, amazing skills in so many areas of expertise, humble, fascinating, resilient, honest, etc. The list could go on-&-on. Not one time have I found them to be boring! I do wish Eevee and Doug were my neighbors although my place would appear neglected compared to their endless projects and energy. The outlet Doug installed in this video is interesting. That is a task I would not hesitate to tackle. As usual, I learn from every video on their channels. Nope! Definitely never boring!!!!!!

We had a house, that had the original contractor outlets that were the stick the wire in as opposed to wrapping around the screws. We started having random electrical issues, including an almost electrical fire from one of the outlets (the wall was actually glowing) I had an electrician come in and he explained that all the outlets probably needed to be swapped out. The electrician explained as over the years when people were unplugging things, they were actually also pulling on the guts of the outlet, exposing wires to each other. When my hubbie came home from deployment, he went through the whole house and replaced all the outlets. A lot cheaper than the quoted price from the electeicisn.
