An old friend who was who introduce me to mlp had Luna as his favorite character, he told me that one day randomly found an image of Luna and her design was enough to hook him to the show, he would later convince me to watch mlp. I always thought luna holds the power of subconscious and depths of the unknown. Since she is lord of the night and in some ancient beliefs day means normal mind but night means subconscious. This also means our side that we avoided or run away from. I always thought luna has the power to use dark magic and stuff.
