So good to see a great UK map. Though not my favorite Oxy map, Calmsden is a great map. I'm really enjoying RBS as it's near my home. But I have always enjoyed the UK maps in FS and can't wait for this to be public.

Calmsden, the birthplace of The Farm Hand, back for 25. Couldn't ask for more. For the respect I have to George, no John Deere, tractor or implement will have place on my farm. And the rain in the summer, snow in the winter, it will look like in a fairytale, I just know it. I'm doing already plans in my head about this farm cause a month will go quickly. But I also learn things from your play which will help me later in the game.

fascinating stuff Scroft, it would be absolutely awesome with some British meadowland bird sounds such as: Pheasant, Partridge, Skylarks, Cuckoo, wood pigeon, Song thrush, ...... even the sound of distant shotguns, too many to list,... growing up on an English farm, one can never forget the sounds of the English countryside, right down to Sunday morning church bells...ha ha.

You will find many different UK bird sounds in calmsden :). Sound of distance shotguns in the summer is a good idea and have added is now in the map at random encounters 😃

It is a personal choice. I have the game on my gaming pc and PS5. I play 95% of the time on my PS5, in my easy chair, with a drink or snack of choice, on my LG 55” Oled tv.

Very nice selection of starting equipment… My only wish for Calmsden would be to make Linseed Oil and Maybe a Biomass Heating Plant… Ability to Sell Wood 🪵 Chips to make Chipboard Pallets instead of just Planks… Map looks Brilliant 🍁✌️🚜

What a treat. I am so torn. Should I start a new game play or try to replicate my current game play that have on FS22.The updates are phenomenal. The grass and the hedges are unreal. I for one will not be changing any of the buildings, though I will likely add the sale points that I added near the Garden Center. Not sure how traffic is going to go on this map, but I believe there is an AutoDrive Function to disable Traffic while enroute.

There is a spot on Hutan Pantai where the road goes into a U shape, well the base AI cannot navigate it at all. With Autodrive and some light adjustments to the nav points AI can now get around it.

Hey budy you should be able to go into your game save folder of fs22 find cousreplay folder and copy file to fs25, make a back up copy first just incase, but this has worked in the past. Same with autodrive. Cheers.

Hi scroft great video as always not sure how realistic you want to be when choosing the starting tractor number plates but the new case puma with that cab wasn't released until 2023 so it isn't possible for that tractor to be a 69 plate 😅

I think the John Deer should be replaced by a European tractor, for a bit more balance. And for the mower, I'd prefer to have the front mower as starter equipment, so you can later buy the bigger rear mower to upgrade the setup (both from the same brand). If find this "in between" rear mower bit useless because it'll later be replaced by the bigger rear mower anyways. Edit: I mean as the starting equipment.

@@Scroftthe collisions shouldn’t actually take too long, as long as you have all walls in its own transform then it’s just a case of exporting the walls out then changing the collisions in the xml which should on,y take a minute or 2 then import the walls back into the map

Nice vid, but why are you making the AD field boundary? You don't have to. Your waitpoint just has to be close to the field or just inside the field and AD will take care of the rest. I usually just have a waitpoint near the field entrance and it will always find its way back to that point. Sometimes a make a loop making room for an additional tractor in case I need multiple tractor to keep up with the combine. Remember to turn on: Restrict unloader to field and Restrict pathfinder to field.

At least in FS22 it didn't always find the way back. If the field is big, it might not find the way point at all or go straight through the crop. But you can configure to go for the closest road (i.e. recorded route). This can have funny results if there's a road nearby, but the terrain is too steep or something like that. A field boundary route is always the closest. He should make a habit to record these boundary routes as low priority, though. Then it's only used for the harvesting, autodrive doesn't use them as "shortcuts" (especially if the field got more than one entry/exit).

They are in long placements, so it would be too difficult to make them into sections; you would have to remove a long stretch. Therefore, they are not placeable objects.

Is this out on ps5 yet? I played about 25 hours on fs25 and haven’t touched it since. The base game maps are pretty bland and the Ai fieldwork was terrible, as soon as you modify the field it all stops working. Hopefully they fix all the issues because the game is great visually
