Well done. Very very cool. And the shuttle imperfections somehow add an added layer of beauty and interest that a "perfectly" cut box wouldn't. Really, it is a beautiful piece. I am sure whomever receives this will be overwhelmed by the piece and the work you put in to create it.

More of a scrollsaw/bandsaw box. Good effort and video. With practice the next few will become more accurate as time goes buy and you can build in additional features such as hidden drawers. It does take time to balance the blade speed and keep it on the lines, as I know from past experience. Keep up the good work

Beautiful! I am new at this - could you tell me what size blade you are using?
@WoodWorkingbg4 жыл бұрын
I don't remember exactly what it is, but I have a set with many types and I think it is too thin to be able to rotate the part. the brand is Scheppach

@@WoodWorkingbg Thank you, I keep getting burn marks on the wood so I figured it was the wood (cherry), now I think it is the blade size.

No fair you had a band saw. But seriously I can't stand those dual set screw blade holders. I use the "alternate" blade holders that are supposed to be for pinned blades. Night and day difference. They take pinless blades and use one m4 hex screw to clamp them down.
