I recently picked up 2 dewalt blades for my hand held circ saw. I was using it for chopping the frame from some old decking ready for the wood stove (it had been built from untreated softwood so fine to burn) The first blade was a dewalt extreme "nail tough" that cost me about 25 quid. the very first nail i hit, it removed the tips off 3 teeth. The other blade was a dewalt construction cheapy, no mention of nails and didn't even come in a packet. That one was chomping through nails quite happily all afternoon don't know if i just had a duff one? I'll try taking it back next time i'm in town and see what they say. i know they are a consumable item, but i'd expect a nail tough blade to cope with more than 1 nail!!

True, I do have a good selection of blades for fine work though
