Yes! I'm glad that you covered this game! This is my favorite game in the Marvel Vs. series. I love the soundtrack, stages, and presentation. I do like the concept and idea behind the assist system in this game. Also, this is the last Marvel Vs. game to use the six-button control system!

Gameplan is basically to build another bar, perform a Duo Team Attack and then perform Double War Destroyer (War Destroyer paired with Hulk's Gamma Crush is also a pretty deadly combination btw, but not as easy to pull off), personally though, I've always found Ironman/War Machine's combos/links to be a bit too weird to get too used to, so I use the other easy characters in this game, Venom/Red Venom and Wolverine, very basic gameplan as well, Wolverine is very similar to his MSHvSF appearance only now he can link his dive kick into HK again and Venom/Red Venom is all about catching the opponent with a throw or confirm to super, Red Venom's infinite is really dumb and easy, if RV's stamnia wasn't so low, he'd be the easiest character in the game.

I doubt it was intentional but I always loved how even if you mess up doing the good shit, you still get some good damage or follow-up opportunities. The good shit is there for those who want it but you can play a basic gameplan and still do well. At the same time though, the good shit isn't so hard that you need to be a god to pull it off. These games hit that perfect balance of accessibility and skill expression.

I always did wish Terrence Howard continued playing War Machine in the MCU movies if not for the apparent behind the scenes drama regarding his pay and other factors

@@DaeguDown Perhaps but one could argue that Howard, as much as I like him as an actor and the "swagger" he brought to the character on screen, was not without fault too. He was apparently hard to work with according to John Favreau, and while hindsight is 20/20, couldn't see that making his grievances with being paid less than RDJ known (while understandable since he was a more well renowned actor than him at the time) would definitely cause him to lose out in the long run (6 MCU movies with WM being in it) all because he couldn't stomach a "short term loss".

Thanks to SCRUB BUSTERS I've become the best MvC1 player at my middle school. I even beat the girl I like's older brother after he used to destroy me all the time. Now she holds my hand everyday when we walk to school together.

Red Venom is almost unusable in mvcfc. They broke his easy infinite combo on p1 side, which removes the main threat of this character.

@@doogies one benefit of gwm hulk is that you can do qcf kk during duo, dash up after hulks, do a hp as hulk, and then while they're in block stun pull out another qcf kk super (both of their qcf kk supers are safe)

I love these videos, i just disagree with this one GWM/Strider is easier for new players and a better team. If you play DWM and your GWM dies, you are gonna be screwed. But if you have strider you are always only one orb activation away from a win and his blockstrings are just ground magic series. And the icing on the cake is that GWM and strider have great duo synergy

Suspected GWM would be the focus for scrub busters in this game and this is right but I disagree with Don Cheadle flavor WM being part of the squad. Should have been Hulk, especially when paired with GWM. This is a borderline brain dead team and Hulk has super armor also. Incredibly strong and about an inch to the floor level of low barrier of entry. I'll set my 4 year old up with GWM/Hulk and I'm confident she will beat a ton of people with or without duo team mode. Press buttons, withstand more damage than anyone else in the game and you're gucci. Another low requirement option could be Chun Li. Normals are crazy good and she can convert into fantastic damage in a bunch of ways with a single meter or less. Nice knee dive refly on your WM demo.
