why do you use emp E a lot instead of Q? I feel in a lot of situations using emp q is more reliable and will allow you to secure kill quicker then emp E

That's not how it works in high elo. You need to play around CCs a lot. For most of the game you cannot oneshot anyone who has invul like xayah or some kind of mobility using emp E guarantees they will not be able to escape and give you another chance to stack up if there are bushes around.

try experimenting with builds and set ups. The amount of build diversity and success rengar can have is pretty impressive. I've been running a more bruiser style rengar & khazix build as of recent going prowlers->trinity-> cleaver and rounding out with collector and mortal reminder for 2 crit and 2 lethality items in addition to the black cleaver shred. This build is honestly surprisingly gratifying as you have no problem oneshoting most fighters and bruisers early with prowlers ,sheen and hearthbound axe. I am loving this build in general because you still get the ability to oneshot priority targets while still getting the durability to enter fights first since unfortunately you get those teams where everyone else wants to go in only after someone that isn't them does. This is what I have been running for now but I am sure there are bound to be other item setups he works well with as long as you have the essential stats to one shots and the mechanical capability to do so. I saw what was probably a relatively old video of the oneshot combo with ironspike whip mythics that got me wondering if we could have gore drinker or stridebreaker and run a successful bruiser assassin hybrid build like I mentioned above.

@@shortsamurai1213 For the triforce build yes, spikewhip mythics no but thats probably due to my macro and not the items. If you want more concrete proof the content creator the build is from is tinjus. But its main strengths are making sure you have the stats you need to do damage and then maximizing your last 2 slots. In my experience an assassin really only needs 2 lethality items and a lastwhisper to kill comfortably. Full lethality only feels good in fast stomp games or into full squishies. Having Cleaver in conjunction with your last whisper will make your 2 lethality items go a long way. The combination of trinity and cleaver are chocked full of valuable stats that transform your gameplay making it more fluid like the sheen, arm reduction, move speed, attack speed, durability, and the ability haste. Your teamfighting is much better thanks to the durability while still being a damage threat and the best part is if teamfighting is bad then your a threat to towers.I recently found that the spikewhip build is essentially just an assassin build with a bruiser mythic (prowelers,eseence reaver, stridbreaker, collector, grudge). The triforce cleaver build is the best middle ground for a hybrid between assassin and fighter builds.
