Pikmin Arrangement - The Forest of Hope

Sorry this comes a day late: the power was out yesterday! But now I'm back with another arrangement from the Pikmin soundtrack, The Forest of Hope! Later in the track is the mix for combatting enemies and then two custom mixes I made for carrying ship parts and completing tasks. I hope you enjoy it! Originally composed by Hajime Wakai.

Pikmin 1 had such a unique feeling compared to the other games. it felt somber and mysterious, quiet and new. It was an interesting game. One of my favorites from my childhood

It's like Pikmin 1 feels more like.. You're exploring a real place, an alien world/post-Human Earth that feels like it could very well exist. In Pikmin 2 that feeling kinda vanishes with all the flashy bitz, toy rooms inside drains and machine gun spiders. I still love them all.

Pikmin 1's sense of mystery was helped by the fact that Olimar was alone. He was his own man, a pioneer of a brave new world, with only a spacesuit and some hyper-loyal natives to help him make sense of this world and get himself home. You're left to your own devices, with every new turn capable of being endlessly dangerous and creepy and wondrous and spectacular and exciting and intriguing all at the same time. Enter 2 and 3, where the whole point is for the Captain to have friends, and BAM, part of Pikmin's charm is out the window. That's why I disagree with those who call 2 their favorite. It's good, but not 1 good.

There is a possibility that Pikmin 4 will follow a new lone Captain. Maybe they'll run into another stranded Captain, & something happens so that you can only use one captain at a time.

Just to know what that glass looking thing is, it is one of Olimar's ship parts called the Radiation Canopy. Like how Scruffy added this reference the fact an Amored Cannon Beetle is guarding the canopy in the actual game.

Scruffy, are you taking video suggestions? If so I had an idea for a good series around pikmin, it could be sort of like a boss analysis. Where you would give the basics of one of the many pikmin bosses along with tips on how to defeat the more tougher bosses, Looking at you Man at legs (Shudder) and If they have them Piklopedia and lore sections. That's just my idea however. Also this song sounds amazing scruffy, keep up the good work!
