Yeah, for anyone that doesn't know - Pete & Bas did an interview a LONG time ago and said they write WITH the help of their grandsons, and their grandsons have been producing the WHOLE TIME. Nine & Dex are the grandkids. Nine is 91Shots (aka the "9 1" you hear at the beginning of ever song, he does all of the beats) and Dex is Handsome Dexter. They've been producing and writing since the beginning. Pete & Bas (and all of the Snooker Boys) perform live, but they've said the WHOLE time they get help with the writing. Also, y'all should check out Nine & Dex. They're starting to put out songs and they are LEGIT even separate from Pete & Bas. Wild lyrical work.

Pete and bas are real old school gangsters. They were part of the Kray brothers crew and people even played them in the movie about the krays. They had retired from being gangsters and were enjoying their old age with their grandkids and they would take their grandkids to school every day and their grandkids were listening to London drill and they both liked it and started coming up with little raps about what they use to do back in the day and their grandkids loved it. And so they made a full song with the help of their grandkids and it blew up and they decided to have some fun and become gangster rappers. Pete said that’s it’s interesting to have been a real gangster in their younger years and now getting to play a characture of one in their old age is fun. They also said they didn’t think a lot of the rappers in London did the things they were speaking on and so that’s too drove them to rap about their real experiences. So when they say they did this shit they really did. The Kray brothers crew Pete and bas was apart of was the real deal. They were ruthless and gave the mobs in New York a run for their money.
