​@SuplexCity2014 Not true. That's all part of the bit. Bas was a piano tutor who used to perform in a corner store which was owned by "Uncle Albert" (the Indian guy in some videos). Pete was a health and safety inspector, and he was going to close this store down, so Uncle Albert and Bas made a music video to try and save the store. This led to Pete and Bas forming. Pete's granddaughter was very into rap/drill at the time and so they would listen to it together in the car, and Pete and Bas saw this as an opportunity to create their own gimmick.

Pete said "One side of the family's Irish, Tiocfaidh ár lá if he's taking the Mick" One half of his family is irish, Tiocfaidh ár lá is an Irish phrase meaning "our day will come" so it can be interpreted as "his day will come if he's taking the piss" but it could also be from the use of the slogan as a Provo (provisional IRA, not to be confused with the original IRA) catchphrase coined by Bobby Sands, the provos were a Northern Irish terrorist group who used to clash with unionist terrorist groups in the north (this is a vast simplification of events but I don't have ten thousand words to explain it here) and were famous for using brutal methods such as car bombs, so it could mean Pete is going to go full violent/put a bomb in a guys car if he's taking the piss, thus acting like those terrorists. Coldest bar on the whole fuckin track.
