"Came out of the shadows" is a reference to a skater named shadow. "Class is on 'S', ain't no average joes", the name of the skateboard race he participates in is S and another of the skaters is Joe. "My mans is cold, strapped with the Langa range", his best friend is Langa, who used to snowboard, thus cold, and he straps his feet to his skateboard to imitate snowboarding. "Yall all Tadashi, snakes", Tadashi goes by the title "Snake" when skating. "Wet 'em up till they thought it rained", one of his most famous races was when he took advantage of it raining.
