Aang's story is continued in the graphic novels basically all the plot hooks get three-part series there. The world coming back together and dealing with issues after 100 years of war (like what to do with Fire Nation territory in Earth Kingdom lands that has essentially been Fire Nation territory for 100 years), Zuko's mom and Azula, Aang and Katara's relationship, how does Air nomad culture survive with only one member of its people still living, the divides between the North and Southern Water tribes, how does the Fire Nation try to go back to what it was after 100 years of fascist rule, the inherent inequality between Benders vs non-Benders. Shit gets deep and picks up right where the show leaves off. Like literally the first panel of the Promise is Aang kissing Katara at the end of Book 3. But bro Korra is an excellent show, the first two books struggle at time and make some questionable decisions but it's worth watching. You just gotta go in watching knowing that it is its own thing intentionally, building off of the first show and deconstructing it. Like if Aang was an extraordinary Avatar dealing with extraordinary crisis who was thrust into a role he wasn't ready for what is the opposite like? Korra is an Avatar who wanted nothing else her whole life and has to actually deal with normal Avatar issues and has to find out what the actual cost of it is.

For better or for worse, Korra is pretty explicitly a bad avatar and most of the story is her coming to grips with that and trying different things. Whether you find that frustrating or interesting is going to come down to personal preference. I personally found Korra as a character annoying af, but the villains were some of the most interesting of the franchise.

The untapped potential of air bending is deadly,when you realize water doesn’t exist without oxygen leading me to believe a master air bender could bend water to a degree.Not only is water bending possible for air benders manipulating the air pressure around an opponent would be deadly as well as constricting the lungs by cutting off air flow makes air bending the most dangerous element in my opinion.

The most "OP" bender is air bender canonically. You can bend the air out of a person and kill them. But technically if a blood bender was skilled enough they could bend the blood out of the heart/brain and kill faster than an air bender. But thats not cannon

One could have the edge on the other, but thats all variant on location, and the individuals skills.

growing up, i’ve always treated every piece of fiction like it was real ass people & events, i had full vibe convos w/ the characters while watching, i connected with them, so stuff like howthey did legend of korra’s story or even just those cringey “bury your found family” tropes you find in most mainstream media just feel so shitty and backhanded, like they’re saying they hope something bad happens to me & my family (knock on wood ofc) ik that may be a lil dramatic but dang it rly does feel that way, bc in a way it feels like the world essentially telling me through tropes in stories, that only certain people matter & that me & my family r disposable commodities unworthy of freedom & joy, and that is just such a disgusting message to pick up, intentional or not lowkey, tropes like that in media that kinda sorta teach the vulnerable that overwhelming adversity equals impossibility & statistical constants equal unchangeable inevitability, almost feels like propaganda designed to break the viewer’s spirit so they stay afraid and never think or pose a threat to the status quo, it’s definitely not above some of these weirdos out there
