*I think I should clarify something at this point. The video shows the killing of a sea urchin at **<a href="#" class="seekto" data-time="58">0:58</a>**. This is not for fun !!!* These sea urchins are a plague in the Canary Islands. They threaten the entire ecosystem, as they eat all from the reefs and have little to no natural enemies left. Because they are active at night, they are usually found in rock crevices during the day. Many diving schools participate in the fight of these reef killers. Just want to let you know...and the haters 😅

Ich bin selbst zwar kein Taucher sonder maximal Gelegenheits-Schnorchler aber deine Videos schaue ich immer gern an! Deine Tauchvideos von Lanzarote sind schon der Hammer! Ist die Playa Blanca nur zum Tauchen oder auch Schnorcheln geeignet? Das ist das Unterwasser Museum oder?

Vielen lieben Dank Patrick :) Habe auch lange geschnorchelt bevor ich zum Tauchen gewechselt bin. Das Museo Atlantico ist in Playa Blanca unweit von der Küste Lanzarote. Es werde auch Schnorchelausflüge dorthin angeboten. Da es nicht sehr tief dort ist (max.10m) wirst du so gut wie alles von oben sehen ;) Ich empfehle aber einen Shorty (kannst du leihen) anzuziehen...egal wann du dort bist. Die Wassertemperaturen sind im Herbst am angenehmsten und schnorcheln kannst du auch so in Playa Blanca :)

​@@DiveDiscover We choose to do most of dives in Puerto del Carmen, all dive sites are accessible by shore. This time we are bit low budget because we invested on 2 liveaboards in South Egypt but they still have no permission to operate...have to wait for it! On mornings will do 2 guided dives and afternoons will rent tanks to do unguided dives and explore well the area. The dives in Playa Blanca are made by boat, but will do some there as well. In Puerto del Carmen want to dive in Waikiki, Veril de playa Chica, Wrecks, Blue Hole, Catedral, Rieches place, Veril de Fariones, El muellito y la playa and Cueva de las gambas. In Playa Blanca really want to dive Faro de Pechiguera is a pinnacle that rises up from 50m to 20m, a lot of marine life! And museum of course! Will stay in Puerto del Carmen where will do most of the dives.

Danke dir....und schön das zu lesen :) Es ist noch eine GoPro Hero4 aber bitte dran denken : Es kommt nicht unbedingt darauf an mit was sondern wie du filmst und vor allem wie du es anschließend nachbearbeitest. Tauchaufnahmen sind extrem aufwendig in der Nachbearbeitung...wenn sie gut aussehen sollen ;)

Hallo und Danke dir :) Das ist abhängig von der Jahreszeit :) Die Wassertemperaturen auf Lanzarote schwanken in der Regel von 20 bis 24 Grad. Ein Halbtrockenanzug beim Tauchen ist ratsam ;) Nette Grüße an dich !

Diese Diademseeigel sind ein Plage auf den Kanarischen Inseln. Sie bedrohen das ganze Ökosystem,da sie die ganzen Riffe abweiden und kaum bis gar keine natürlichen Feinde mehr haben. Da sie Nachtaktiv sind, sind sie tagsüber meist in Felsspalten anzutreffen. Viele Tauchschulen beteiligen sich am Kampf dieser Rifftöter...ich hoffe ich konnte es dir näher bringen :)

Nice vid man,can you give us more info about the depth of the dive? im intrested of going there or in la gomera for my scuba diving and i need to know the depths that you see these beutiful creatures,im currently available on diving until 18 meters max

Hi and thank you! When diving in the range of 18 m you can see a lot in Lanzarote. Basically everything from the video. In general, I recommend that you continue your diving training and, for example, complete the AOWD. Otherwise you are simply too limited in your possibilities (everywhere).

Hopefully next year I'll be able to get the aowd certification aswell:) but im super excited that I'll be able to see most if not all of these animals in the maximum depth of 18 meters! I was reading about lanzarote's sea life and all i needed is an extra ok to be 100% sure. I'll choose Lanzarote over la gomera because you gave me that info and thank you for that 🙏🏼. Gerne doch :) Auf den Kanaren bzw. Lanzarote ist bei den Tauchgängen generell mit wenig Strömung zu rechnen. Du wirst nicht viele Korallen dort haben aber dafür eine einzigartige Unterwasserlandschaft mit viel Fisch.
