Ya know, I saw this movie in the theatre in Bellingham, Massachusetts on opening weekend, my older sisters brought me…and where the fuck did the wetsuit, active scuba tanks _(active_ meaning within their 5 year hydrostatic test period). This movie was made in a world where eBay _but it now_ either didn’t yet exist or had just started (my dad was one of the web programmers who started working on eBay in 1994)… he mentions at one point in the movie that he’s got a quarter million dollar settlement partly invested, but, he must’ve hit on some luck there finding all the matching ScubaSteve scuba gear…I honestly thought that IN the movie theatre…my dad was a military trained scuba diver in his twenty’s… I’m a retired professional Tournament Paintball player & looking into what it would cost me to buy a new HPA tank, I could buy a Scuba tank compressor and run my tank with a 2002 Hydrostatic test date cheaper than it would be to buy a new HPA tank for paintball…

The fellow who acted as the weird homo, Steve Buscemi, 3 years after shooting this movie (assume taken in 1998) volunteered to return to his old firefighting job and worked 12 hrs shift (for several days) alongside other fire firefighters, searching for survivors in the rubble of the collapsed World Trade Center. He '"suffered" PTSD from it. Poor guy.
