I arrived late to this party but I just want everyone to know, Cockneys are some of the most naturally lyrically gifted people on the planet. Ever heard of cockney rhyming slang? Trouble and strife = wife Dog and bone = phone Apples and pears = stairs. China plate = mate (shortened to China - alright me old china!) Cockneys (and other cultures) had lyrics before this incarnation/expression of rap and grime existed. I'm not the slightest bit surprised by their word play. It's the delivery that takes it over the top.
