Scuf Envision Pro Vs Vader 4 Pro Duo Review

Due to the tension rings becoming more and more loose after time and it actually impacting game-play severely (as it messed with my muscle memory) I have returned back to the envision pro. Which after its latest update, now has half the latency than the Vader 4 pro even though it has a lower polling rate both on the sticks and buttons. Whatever issues the envision had seem to be fixed now. It sucks it is not a tmr based controller but it is what it is. I've reached out to power A to review their OPS V3 Pro which on paper is the fastest controller on the buttons and sticks, even faster than the dual sense at 8000hz oced. @flydigi Also completely stopped replying to emails after they sent the controller. They never seemed to even watch the video and did not respond to my email about the review so take that as you will. My custom Settings for the Envision Thumb sticks are 0% 24% 31% 50% 71% 100%

I've switched to linear on the envision pro. I cue is set to linear, in game set to linear with a 0.0 slope aim. sensitivity is 1.30, 1.30 and zero deadzone on the right stick minimum and 99 maximum.

I bought the Vader 4 Pro for the PS5 and it works with an adapter, but some buttons don't work as well as a PS5 controller Have you made any adjustments?

If you get the Flydigi charge dock it’ll auto power on if you pick it up, so no need to manually power on the controller yourself.

whats your ingame deadzone and sensitivity, and your space station (flydigi software) settings ? circular or rectangular? 12-8 bit? and the sticks center sensitivity, low-mid-high? edit: and you sure 0 slope scale is linear? cause in mw3 it was 0.34 or in someting that was most linear

@mev85 12 bit, thumbstick curve was linear already, so it was left on default. The polling rate is at 1000hz, and the center sensitivity curve is set to the fast preset.

@mev85 I am not 100% about the slope. If you know for sure on bo6 please let me know. I have no clue on how to test that myself.

@mev85 Also, the left stick is set to rectangular and the right to circular.

@@techbuildspcs but i think mid is most linear? Tried fast but it makes it hard to lock on steadily on heads imo

@mev85 mid is the default option so it's likely it is.

after seeing your video i think you should check those controllers, Gamesir T3 Pro known as the Tarantula uses TMR lots of people like it's aim , Betop Beitong Kunpeng 40 this is a very new controllers it has TMR and adjestable tention for the sticks but it has only two backbuttons , Thunderobot G80 has swappable stick moudles and thise are Halleffect but you could buy TMRs for this controller in the future since they are not available yet, the Bigbig won Blitz 2 TMR with 2000Hz polling rate the best controller that has the fastest polling rate and very low latency with doube the reporting rate that you get on other fast controllers and for me this one aims better than the vader 4 pro.

Hey I have a vador 4 pro and I tried to set a keyboard bind to reload as the back button and it shows it is saved but when I press it in bo6 it not working any help😊 and i thought it was just me with the tension ring moving i felt like im going crazy i tried all kinda thing

Make sure you go to the settings of the app and the controller services is installed.

@@techbuildspcs amd what do u do to fix or counter the tension ring moving over time cause that bothers me too almost after every warzone game it changes but hwne i move my joystick around fast it does move when im looking at it so idk

For me your aim was really better on Skyline with the valder 4 pro comparing to the scuff envison, I have the envison too and Idk the response curve are really weird and after 5 month my left stick start to drift. I also have the gamesir g7 se but same as the envision the curve is not really linear and you can't change it comparing too the envison. The best controller for me is just a ps5 controller overclock and this feel amazing but I think I will try the valder 4 pro too the price is very cheap and you have lots of custom to try. Thanks for the nice comment man! Are you the person from reddit? try my custom stick settings on the envision before you give up on it. Otherwise enjoy the vader 4 pro. Im using it as we speak.

I also saw that gamesir had the tarantula pro too I wondered if you had tried it too? I also tested the aiming curve on the envision and it's really great

@@Luukayn I have not tested it. I could reach out to gamrsir and see if they are interested. I'm glad the curve worked out for you. Are you keeping the envision or still jumping ship to the Vader 4 pro?

@Luukayn If the envision is working for you I'd keep it. However if it has drift I'd get it exchanged under warranty. If you don't want to deal with the drift again. Get the vader 4 pro. The envision is a great controller but imo the vader 4 pro is better for that reason alone.

scuf don't have 1000 hz and you must have icue (crashing) and on my piece i had red blinking so controller don't work

play with thevader 4 pro for a week then go back to the scuf youll realise how terrible the scuf feels in comparison

my vader 4 pro is on the way . im so exited , im just afraid of the back buttons , not used to that kind of layout ///// comment Update : the controller is the best i ever tried , very reponsive , and the stick tension rings are game changing , back buttons slippery so you need grip accessory

Etsy has some paddle mods. But I don't use them I Actually like the buttons where they are.

Let me know if you run into the rings coming loose with use. Mine did and because of it I ended up shelfing it. It became really annoying.
