Thanks very much Kevin, I really appreciate that. Yeah it was a tricky build this one with having to include fairy lights, but I was really happy with the result. Thanks again Kevin 👍

Loved this so much ! 💚💚💚 Ive noticed a surge in "Dioramas " being made now . The price they sell for is astounding ...people just love them so much. Tips - Use different size ceramic tiles to bake flat pieces on . Use salt to get super glue of anything , inc your fingers . ( add small pile of salt to glued area, then add some drops of water and rub ). When painting on plastic , sandpaper ( fine ) the surface so that paint doesnt peel off. 💚💚💚💚

Thanks Morgan, I really appreciate it, glad you liked the Diorama! Yeah you're right, Dioramas are really popular now, I love building them. Thanks for the tips 😀 👍

Very nice diorama and cute robot. But why not using screws or magnets to close the back. This would allow much easyier access to the LED stripes for repair or replacement..
@theclayshack3 жыл бұрын
Hi there, thanks for the kind comments, it means a lot. Yes you're right I do need to change the way I attach the back on my Dioramas. I was going to use screws but the Balsa wood was too soft, but your idea about using Magnets is a great one! I will definitely look into it. Thanks for the great suggestion Buddy!

Wow. This has everything! Woodworking, clay sculpting, painting and electrical! Fabulous work! Wish you could sell these but I'm sure with the time and expertise you'd have to charge at least $1000! Keep up the great work!

Hi Pamela, Thanks so much for the great comments, it means a lot to me. To be honest I would love to start selling some of my Sculptures, as I have quite a few that I have made over the years. I have a job so this is just my Hobby but I would really like to do it full time. I need to set up my own online shop, but I'm clueless with all that stuff, I am only just getting the hang of KZbin! Lol! I was amazed when you said that I would have to charge $1000... It blew my mind! Lol! My Family have been telling me for years, I should do this for a living, but I have always doubted that I could, so Thank you again for your kind comments.

This is really cool, but if you don't mind my saying so, I think it would look better if the robot and the walls were different metals so they contrast a bit.
@theclayshack2 жыл бұрын
Hi, yeah I see what you mean, I've thought it myself too. Maybe I'll go back and fix it one day, same thing with the Robots in Space Diorama I built. Also I've been getting into oil washes lately so I think they would benefit from that too. Thanks for the comment 👍

Love your work! Amazing skills! Quick question, what type of glue are you using on the balsa wood and what is in the spray can? I’ve never seen anyone use a spray with glue like that. Thanks for sparking a million ideas!
@theclayshack2 жыл бұрын
Thanks for the kind comments, it's really appreciated. The Glue is Super glue and the spray is an accelerant. You can buy it off Amazon, there are loads of different brands, but they all basically do the same job. Make sure you buy them as a set because they also come separately. Just type in Superglue and Accelerant and you'll be sorted. Thanks again 👍
