Your tutorials are invaluable. I just have one question: how does one get the greenstuff to stick to the miniature? Is waiting for 30 minutes enough? Because every time I try to model anything, the grrnstuff keeps coming out and I am left with a very poorly detailed cloth piece, impossible to model. If I leave it cure for 30 minutes, then it's too hard to model anything without having to press too strongly (and then sometimes it comes off too). What am I missing?

Make sure to clean the mini was with alcohol and water first, to remove all oils

I know I'm a bit late to the party, but do you know what one should do to do this with milliput? That's currently what i have, but it feels really difficult to sculpt anything into without either completely oversculpting or ripping it. Is there some sort of targeted cure time where milliput gets a similar consistency to the green stuff here? Thanks in advance.

Short answer, no; milliput is always more rigid than green stuff. This is one of the things that makes it useful, since it's much easier to sand or get hard edges out of...but for cloth, the flexibility of green stuff is more adaptive. They're just fundamentally different tools.
