I found out about Rakes because I told my friend about a nightmare I had where I saw a creature sitting on a trunk at the foot of the bed, watching me. I drew a picture of it and my friend realized it looks like a rake. I'd show you, but I dont think I can post pics here. Obviously I didn't die though so I wouldn't worry

Dzunukwa or “the wild woman of the woods” is a common story told to young kids in the region I grew up in to scare them from staying in the woods to late at night. Dzunukwa is a woman who lives up in the mountains alone and at night she comes down to stuff lone kids in her basket to later eat them. I think she’s a windigo. Anyways it would be really cool if you looked her up and maybe sculpt her.

It's hard to gauge which creepypasta is the scariest cause they each represent different fears. The Rake is the fear of vulnerability, Jeff the killer is the fear of dehumanization, disfigurement and mutilation, and Slenderman is the fear of the unknown.

Toby and Jeff don't feel pain, move faster than the average person, dont feel remorse, and they dont hesitate before attacking you. Sculpt Idea: Since the movies release date was moved back, I think you should do a Venom a sculpture! The amount of detail in his body if you look closely is beautiful and I think you could have a lot of fun with the idea. Either venom entirely, Eddie and Venom sharing a face, or when Eddie was coming out of venoms body in the final battle at the end of the movie would be cool. (Or female venom for the ladies out there). I think it could be a fun project!

A cool tip for creepy or fantastical projects like this is to use reflective tape behind the eye cabochons. I made a Cheshire cat a long time ago and used a piece of reflective tape I had leftover from customizing my motorcycle helmet and it looks amazing! A black slit and you're done. When you shine a light on him his eyes glow insanely bright. In the dark all you see are two glowing cat eyes and you don't need to charge it. Both have their pros and cons, but it just depends on the effect you want. I think reflective tape works best for animals and creatures because it behaves like real actual tapetum lucidum, which is the actual reflective membrane animals have. It allows the light to bounce around in their eyes and basically "double expose" every bit of light allowing them to see in the dark. Hope this helps anyone, it's a cool trick I thought I'd share.
