SO glad you made this one! It's nice seeing how PRO figure sculpting is done. I'm about to step up my game, man. Watch out! I'm about to research what does "MABA" stand for, and if it's all good, I may be doing some types of that sculpting.
@AdamCrohn4 жыл бұрын
Thanks my friend! You flatter me. I'm gonna have to live up to that "PRO" title. I would love to see you do a Maba figure. Maybe an all new character, like The Discombobulator from that one horror movie!

You know this is the only guy that actually is very specific on how to sculpt most of the videos tell you they're going to teach you how to sculpt but actually don't teach you nothing. This guy actually is teaching you step by step. Great video

Thanks a lot for that detailed insight. Now I can imagine what it means to do a figure going close to the 8'' scale like my commission will be. Wow!

AC, you are amazing! I'm here for Crafsman, who is another great guy. I am Brazilian and my childhood, in the 70s and 80s was full of GI Joes (here known as Comandos em Ação), He man, Thundercats among others. But a hero I loved to watch was the Japanese Spectroman - Wow, how I liked him! But here in Brazil he was forgotten. Maybe you can make a Spectroman if you know the character. I wish you a lot of success on your youtube channel ("Hello KZbin" - :D Man, you're awesome!). Thanks for all your videos!

thats really nice, i love chuds... i cant understand why people choose to work with epoxy over polimeric clay to do this kind of sculpting, seems like a lot of drawbacks... you are not able to sand the hard supersculpey?
@AdamCrohn2 жыл бұрын
Thanks! Yeah, I just prefer working with Apoxie, but since I made this video I've done some more work with Super Sculpy and enjoy it a bit more.

like the detail you can get with super sculpey. I've made a 2m steel robot for displays and have been thinking about making a small sculpture/ toy. to sell at the displays. Can you use a wire armature and will it be ok to bake?
@AdamCrohn3 жыл бұрын
I use 2 part Aves apoxie sculpt, which is self hardening. So you don't bake it. But the armature wire should be fine to bake.
