I still want a mission system to give the players a bit more of purpose, excitement, and adventure. Stuff like hidden stash hunts, bounty hunting other players, item retrieval, etc. would really help up the fun factor of the game.

1 Request to Developers: Please fix the Boating/Wet Feet/Wet Clothing issue after going anywhere near water...correctly standing/sitting/driving a small dinghy/boat doe NOT result in 88.7% wetness of underpants, trousers, socks and shoes. Current setup takes the fun out of boating/using boats to live freely on the islands. And Trench Foot/Athletes Foot does NOT develop 1 day at sea :D This game has the most diligent, loving Dev team i've ever seen in a game apart from Road to Vostok. I KNOW they'll see this or that Ray will pass it on. Leave your feedback gamers...this game's Dev team are AWESOME!!!

Yes, let's hope the hunting is reworked again.. This ain't it. Best part of this update is the loot rework. Did a little testing.. at vanilla loot because of the server settings bug. And loot is more common and makes a bit more sense. Lots of loot that didn't previously exist or was really rare.. is now in loot pools. Military glasses, watering pots, iron locks(not padlocks), food and drinks in trash piles, backpacks in trash piles.. A lot more military clothing in military POI's.. Vanilla loot seems to be far better than it once was.. and I highly recommend server owners with heightened loot settings, please pay attention to the new loot settings. You may want to change your loot settings to compensate. Can't wait for the more detailed loot settings coming soon.

@@danielsmith9619 They cleared the loot rework back to Vanilla. Guns are there. We got 3 at 1.5x times, wich is the same I believe RKG server

Seems like the cooking rework also removed the option to place meat by a fire to cook. After a few minutes all I got was scorching hot slightly off meat lol. So looks like cooking meat on the run is no more. Unless you happen to have cans etc to craft the bbq

Can't eat snow for water, can't find thread to craft, can't find animals to hunt, I can hear them but in snow it should be easier to see them, so many puppets to kill just to find nothing, Offical Servers sucks now.

It's a little concerning that they have titled the patch 0.85. After nearly 5 years I hoped that we might only be a couple of updates away from 1.0, but this is the developers way of telling us that there is still a long way to go before the game in considered to be the finished article. Remember when we all used to laugh at DayZ developers?

We know what they want before 1.0. The radio tower is being worked on and will come in the next update. That's the last POI they want before launch. They are working on abandoned bunkers and a new enemy AI. Then they will be working on active bunkers and human AI. We know the SCAR H is coming. Missions as well. Currently working on the male model rework. There will be a few bits and bobs in between.. but I think there will be 3-5 more updates before 1.0. Why does it matter anyways? As long as they continue to add to what they already have, does it really matter what the update is called? The number really doesn't mean anything.

I'm sorry I don't use g portal. Use my affiliate and join GGhost. They have their own discord and kraken the owner of GGHost is always willing to help on his discord. I've used gportal before and don't find them very helpful at times.

@@RayKit I was able to fix it from outside scum discord someone in GGhost was able to help in 5 mins thanks. So your close to devs will they change back the hunting to what it was? I only ask because they just took out the element of surprise running though the woods and coming across a bear or wolf and die thats what i believe is part of a survival game to survive some players now know they do not have to worry about running around in the woods now there is nothing there to attach them now only puppets but great video always look forward to them.

Great video RayKit I can't wait to hop in to the game and play. To be perfectly honest though I don't think we needed the rocket launchers in the game just my opinion. It probably persists now. It's done off of time between the last time it was looted.

That thing is super rare to balance the game. Even in 3x loots servers took me literally 3 full hours of scavenging Bunkers. I found RPG-7 on A1 Bunker.
