Some servers do monthly vehicle wipes, or as on my server vehicles de-spawn after 7 days of inactivity. THis must be taken into consideration. Vehicles don't spawn in if no players around, I think around 300mtrs. But if a player is standing next to the vehicle you can see them from much farther away.

Last time i checked you can dump chests out on the water or you can place them on the buoy as well. No need to keep a raft out. You'd have to swim/fly realy close for the chests to be visible. Viable for solo players indeed.

Trust me, they will find it. In the old days of SCUM you could place crates inside big rocks and people were still finding them.

Hey Alex, nice to see you :) I do remember that :D You were walking through the wood and suddenly you either saw it or the most funny one you stop to have a look in the inventory and you had the chest in your vicinity :D Well this is the reason why I cannot state the 100% is safe or no one will find it, but based on the statistics that most of the gameplay is on land, there is a slim chance for anyone to look at the corners of the map. this just using the render distance to a advantage. the one thing i disliked about the game (even tho i love the game in general) you cant take those sniper pot shots off the mountain behind the airport. thus making it so you cant sit on the mountain and camp the airfield. theres a certain distance you can see and then the object goes completely invisible. now if they make the reading glasses work and a random roll on vision, some characters having to wear glasses to see better others are eagle eyes ect. irl i have eagle eye vision, but in game i cant see someone sitting in a bush 5 feet infront of me. its a really dumb aspect imo all buddy has to do is run behind a building and sit in a bush, bam invisible. its been proven the camo and awareness dont work

Hey LordSos :) In the past years this is how it went from one patch to another, from one update to another. Some is brought to the game and something else gets broken. Unfortunately affects the gameplay as you say, but my sin is that I kind of understand how game development works when you do not have a big team that takes care of all the aspects of the game. I do still hope that all of these will be sorted eventually :) On the other side I do think that it is a boomer, but I try my best to see the bright side of the things, and till everything gets fixed, will give us the chance to do our workarounds We transform the issues into advantages if this is what the game offers, this is how we fix them :)) Thank you for taking your time to write down your thoughts, I appreciate it.
