The katana and compound bow are my main weapons. I've went to the B3 castle a few times. I like loading up on arrows there and I'll get medieval swords and helmets. The medieval swords when repaired should sell really good at the trader.

There's another castle in the top right of B3. It even has a moat. I tend to build my bases around the B2 airport. Since the mechs are disabled I tend to go there a lot. The loot isn't as good as it used to be. If I was only after loot it'd be better to go to the prison or the Torpedo factory. The loot has been nerfed at the Naval Yard and the Boot camp so I haven't been to either of them in quite a while. They used to be my favorite places to get really good guns like the M82. I've found a M82 past the Quonset huts at the Boot camp and in the hangers at the B2 airport. Not in a long time though.

The place you’re thinking about I call the Chateau. It’s actually a museum. It has Medieval items, secret passages behind hidden doors etc. It’s in D1, east of the coal mine.

Medieval sword is one of the best melee weapons if you don’t have a katana or m16 with bayonet.

That was a pretty cool intro. I think the radiation ☢️ zone would be a good idea to visit but get the hazmat suit for that run. It’s a spooky place

I don't know if you've been playing long enough to remember the force field around the old safe zone. I wish they had built a force field around the radiated power plant. That way I could still drive up and down 0 line like i used to. Since they've added the radiated areas like they have I mostly avoid the entire section. That also keeps me from spending much time in D0 since I don't want to drive through the radiated area to get there. I can drive around and do occasionally just not as much as I used to.

quite a while back they added a magic pocket that allows you to not drop items when using a ladder. One of the greatest additions imo. I can go to the Torpedo factory and carry down an extra backpack of guns and not drop them like before.

I haven't found a handgun suppressor yet and I'm on a high loot server. I ended up buying one. I have fond a few .45 suppressors and other suppressors.
