SCUM v0.95 (Single Player) | S2 Ep1 | A Great Start to a New Season

Welcome back everyone to SCUM! We are starting a new season with the 0.95 update. We find ourselves at the Scrapyard (where we left off in Season 1) starting fresh and already having some fun with the puppets. We loot the main areas of this POI and find some nice items to get us started on our journey. Thanks for watching and enjoy the video :)

Hi CZ, just DON'T let the Z's scream! They'll call there buddy's and your in a world of doo doo. Smack the Z's, shoot them with arrows or throw a stone in there face, just dont let them scream. :) When you've heard that scream, that rally call, you'll never forget it! And being silent is also key! Shooting weapons is last resort now! Puppets spawn in bushes now, so there harder to spot On the multiplayer server I also dont encounter Z's in houses/towns, only rarely outside in towns, they only spawn when you make to much noise, see the patch notes for the 3 threat zones now, low, medium and high threat zones. And it seems it takes some time before they spawn in, it's delayed somehow, maybe a hotfix thing idk Don't forget to set items to your favorites, just right click the items to add them. You can make nails now with scrap metal and a workbench! And animals roam the world now, gotta say hunting is also fun like this! Watch out for the wolves there a bit buggy in this update! Great video ! Wow, you got an amazing set of stuff at that first POI!

I knew about the threat zones, that's what I based my settings on. The information they gave about the puppet settings aren't very clear, so I am still wondering if my settings are the way I want them, but only time will tell. I did notice while I was testing that the puppets spawn timer is weird. I have seen them spawn in lying down in the middle of the road, which never happened before. Definitely a fix is needed for the puppet spawns. I haven't installed the latest hotfix yet. I'll try to remember about setting items to my favorites. I guarantee you I won't remember that. 🤣 I am glad the animals are roaming free again, I do miss hunting them, so I will be looking out for them in my travels across the map.

@@CitizenZ_Gaming Ah ok, my sincere apologies then CZ! The puppet settings are weird now, we set up our own server again to check some things + we have interested friends how want to try Scum first time, and that's better to learn in a more controlled environment than on a pvp server. :) Hahahahaha, remembering stuff to do is also a thing of mine, constantly remind others to do stuff but keep forgetting to do it for myself. Once I did in my game I must say favorites in combination with auto craft works amazing! So, so much faster now, I love it. I love to see the animals in game, I love the previous way to but this is better, you were right! Was wondering how they would look and act but from the animals I saw, goat, deer, wolf, bear, chicken they look great and act very lifelike, even spotted a deer and followed it around a long while to see it's behaviour, it was walking around and grazing and at times it took a break and lay down in the sun, got up and started wandering again, amazing how it's all made.. Can almost compare it with Hunter Call of the Wild in it's realism

Great video! and not a bad poi to start at. Definitely got a nice start 😊 When you dont start a new character, despite you having nothing, you start at the last point you logged off. Thats why i was a little panicky knowing where i logged out in my series 😂

That is what happened with my existing character .. Logged into at the location of where my *Base* Was ... I'm Still playing around with "Puppet NPC" setting and I'm totally confused, Lol .... All we can do is play and test and maybe Die several times, while figuring it out. Enjoy

I forgot if you don't create a new character you start where you left off. Unless its a hard wipe. The puppet settings are a mystery and dying is inevitable 🤣

So far all the other streamers I watch ain't come across any zombies inside any of the POI's but they ain't done any bunkers yet either.

Thanks, thats good to know its a game issue and not something I did with my settings. I kind of figured it was a game issue, but because the interior spawn multiplier is not listed in the settings, I wasnt sure if they replaced it with a new setting and I made an incorrect adjustment. 👍

I just watched Luthais. Pray to God you don't have a high respawn rate for the zombies and go into a regular bunker. They will constantly spawn in behind you even after you've cleared them all out.@@CitizenZ_Gaming

@CitizenZ_Gaming I actually am just turning them off until they don't spawn on top of you. I wouldn't mind if I could clear them out and then loot but having them appear at anytime is not for for me. Once they change it I'll bring them back in.

Why you play single player are there any story or something else different that make you go single player not online ?

No, no story in SP, I have played plenty of PVP before I started to make videos. I was always a solo in PVP and I rarely came across other players. It was basically PVE with settings that weren't mine. I have played on Raykit's server, Luthais' servers and Mr. Feudals server. Feudals server is the only one I play on in MP. I also don't play this game as much as I used to, so Single Player is the better option for me at this point. I had my SP server set up exactly how I like it before the 0.95 update. Since this update came out, the puppets have not been what I am used to, but I am making the best out of the current settings. I don't like the current puppet system, the horde system screws up the regular puppet spawns IMO. I play other games in my spare time other than SCUM like God of War, The Finals, Battlefield and Dying Light 2.
