I needed this video. It's crazy that I happened to come across this episode today of all days is mind blowing. When you are all talking about finances and hector says "the amount of money you choose to spend and the way you choose to live is all up to you" actually really hit me cuz I found out literally tonight (New years eve 2022) that I'm gonna have to start finding a new place to stay. My roomates gf told him that she'll move in and pay half his mortgage but I will have to go. So now I have to start looking for a home of my own which means I'll have to start changing the lifestyle that I live and really start to focus on making more money and saving more money. (practically penny pinching). So the fact that this podcast episode came up only an hour after I found that out is kind of like a sign to me to focus this year and make as much money as i can

Froste, Mako, and Ava all streamed LESS than 9 hours a week Classy streamed 19 hours a week In 2 years they put out 33 videos, so a little more than 1 video a month Some people just want it more than others, the only person at fault for not having enough money is Froste. You have 100T backing you, a content budget, huge creators you can collab with and you're friends with the CEO.

It’s like MMA vs boxing. Scump being the MMA guy who’s overall nasty and would kill you in a street fight then theirs the warzone pros who are like boxers who just specialize in one thing and when they get thrown into the ring/game competitively it’s a different animal they aren’t ready for. CDL pros could become warzone pros way faster than warzone pros could become CDL pros. That should end the debate.

100% agree with Davis. There is no reason why your abilities should start to decline before you hit your mid to late 30s. That's usually when you see performances drop off in pretty much every sport. I think in cod it's just at some point you're burnt out and you just don't want it as much as the young guys anymore and that's why you start playing worse.

its processing and reaction. brain just starts dying. can happen at different ages and different rates but its happens eventually. In F1, Alonso is 41, his rate is very low. Mine on the other hand is pretty fast. Im 27 and everytime I go back to playing cod from a couple months later, I have to lower my sensitivity by 1. I was 17 sens at 26, now im at 12 - all 1 change in sensitivity at a time.

Reactions/sharpness get worse when you get into mid 20s onward but your experience makes up for that small decline in most sports. In these eSport games lots of they are about reaction speed more than anything else. And that tiny decline makes a big difference. Like imagine 100m runner who at the start of their career is great at explosive 25m but can't maintain the speed, they train and get a slower 25m but get a faster overall speed they can maintain. Now imagine in eSports the race is like 35m.

It is pretty telling that the rest of the Mob guys are not co-signing Froste's take. The dude was given a salary, sponsor introduction, production assistance, etc. Then didn't do crap. Froste averaged like 40 hours a MONTH streaming. He was bringing nothing to the table. He is the typical kid who signed with an or and was like "I've made it, I can relax." Instead of taking the opportunity and doubling down on the work and grind to actually accomplish something.

The issue for the Mob is the existence of JHB. He literally started as Froste's and then The Mobs editor. He did that; took advantage of being invited the compound grand opening and scored an internship job with 100T. Taking his editing skills he made "clips" and "best bits" for all the large 100T creators and built their TikToks from the ground up. Inc the main 100T TikTok and Twitter. From that he leveraged his own series & channel which whilst are not the "biggest" easily hit well over 100k views per upload. Anyone who becomes a guest with 100T he puts through his awkward sitdown show; networking, grinding, networking, grinding.
