Yeah, if you even bother playing it, you will quickly realize how good the gameplay is with the 2d mechanic being its most unique compared to other shooters. Like come on people don't judge a book by its cover, didn't we learn this from preschool?

It is still alive unless you are queuing for ranked, but the lack of marketing really hurt this game alongside being released near Marvel Rivals...just ouch which is a shame because it is a good game...oh and also yea the grind, just sucks...fun gameplay the grind to unlock character is a pain in the butt.

Get a knew controller of you've had it for some years it probably won't respond as well, I had an elite controller for like 6 years and the difference in my new controller is top tier, I got a gamesir he or ge whatever is newer and it's only £40 and it has a custom software, only 2 paddles on back though and has hall effect triggers and analogs

its real fun, im acc hooked i liked the layout of val and the aesthetic of it but i hated that you cant jump around like apex this has the aesthetic i like and gameplay you should try it out make sure to turn off mouse smoothing in the settings though

@mikey2111 Difference in games like Valorant and Xdefiant is in Valorant's fair play and especially fair, comp play ability. Xdefiant didn't have that same comp-friendly play style against other players whereas Valorant has always been both casual shooter friendly and pro-friendly.

Yea despite its looks...it's actually a good game, yea the gameplay is quite fun especially the movement with going to 2d, this allows give you so much flexibility that it is insane and the 2d isn't just an effect, no it actually makes your hitbox much smaller which makes gun fights a lot of more interesting and the fact that you can go up on some walls and/or guide over opens a lot in terms of options. In terms of looks... yeah, I'm not going to lie, it's ok but since the gameplay is so good I honestly don't care about the looks.

@@CBreezy33TV I normally stay away from the Valorant/Overwatch type of shooter games, I just think they're too fast and too hacker-friendly, but Valorant has surprised me from time to time with both the casual gamer and pro gamer friendly gameplay. I do see a lot of Kpop and Jpop idols playing Valorant and Overwatch more than any other shooter games. I like a shooter game where the devs actually put in firewalls and punish cheaters for cheating. this is one of those unfortunate cases where the game is solid but it has terrible marketing.
