It's starting to crack me up how the new popular thing to say is KD don't matter lol. Who even started that? Probably some noob who was embarrassed of their KD no doubt. KD in my honest opinion is about the best way to tell if a player has any skill at this game. Granted it won't tell you if they are a good team player or if they are good at a particular game mode or anything like that, but it does tell you if they can play or not. At the end of the day the main objective of COD or any shooter for that matter is to get as many kills as you can and as little deaths as you can avoid. That is the exact thing KD shows. If I'm in a lobby and I'm checking my teammates stats and I see someone with a KD lower then like 1.20 I instantly know that person goes negative a lot unless it's a new account. If someone has a good KD then common sense tells me they get more kills then deaths. If KD means nothing then what does and don't give me that win-loss bull shit. Win-loss is flawed because noobs and bad players get carried to wins all day every day. Trust me I know this from experience because my back is about broken from carrying noobs the last few games to come out especially Black ops3. SPM usually nine times out of ten goes hand in hand with KD. If someone is getting a lot of kills and streaks and low deaths their KD and SPM are going to go up together. My kd right now is 2.35. That is the highest it's ever been in my life. I once sucked at this game but I been playing since Mw2 and I just got better with time. If you look at people's KD I would say probably 90% of the KD's fall between 0.90 and 1.20 so I consider myself a little above average but I've seen people with KD's as high as 4.00. Unless the person is hacking or boosting then I have never seen it fail that if a person has a good KD they play good and if they have a bad KD their a bad player plain and simple.
