Rushall's success in recent years has mirrored Scunny's decline. 20 years ago they had 50 for home games and their biggest game of the year was a pre-season game with Walsall. They have been incredible in recent years and if they had beat Scunthorpe yesterday it would have been one more miracle.

A must win. I wasn't at the game due to ice hockey, so can't really comment. However, looking at your vlog highlights Gareth, it would appear that Scunny squandered their chances in front of goal and were let off the hook. However, no matter how ugly a team play, it's goals that win games and playing to the final whistle is what Scunny did yesterday. Hope to see you for the Alfreton game.

Yes we had to win that game for me. Just to prove that we have the mentality to bounce back from a disappointing match on Tuesday. We made hard work of it though and Rushall will be disappointed they never came away with anything. As you say play to the final whistle and occasionally you get your rewards. We need to play better on Tuesday against Blyth. A few changes need making to personnel I feel, just to freshen it up and bring a fresh impetus into the team. See you against Alfreton 👍🏼

Maybe in the run up you are correct. Tuesday was a massive game. In losing that game, it made this game just as big in my eyes. We had to respond, yes we won but it wasn’t great.
